Uhm, yea. Just stop calling yourself a church however. At least not a Christian church.
This is an especially high priority for clergy vowed to pattern (our) live(s) in accordance with the teachings of Christ, so that (we) may be (a) wholesome example(s) to all people, wrote Sisk.
Huh?!
“Huh?!”
They will say ANYTHING to fit their agenda.
So “priests in this “religion” can take it up the arse as long as they are married?
What a great “bishop “this “religion” has. /s
“to put a timeline on a couple’s readiness for the sacramental rite of marriage when that has never been available to them before seems arbitrary and unpastoral,
Recognizing what is a sacramental rite does not seem to be an Episcopalean strong point.
They stopped following Christ many years ago. They are all just false prophets, now.
No need to read any further.
Stop living in sin and sanctify the sin?
This is nuts!
How are these people different from Baal worshippers?
Presume by “preparing” they mean buying more fuschia, magenta, and rainbow garments...and having the organist practicing “YMCA” , “It’s Raining Men”, and “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”?

Not only does this bishop approve of same-sex marriage, he wants homosexual clergy to get "married"!
Well, how about think about how the Episcopal Church was founded. King Henry VIII was so mad his wives wouldn’t bear him sons, but not getting a son apparently wasn’t decent grounds for getting a sanctified divorced by the Catholic Church. The king wanted a Church to support his own form of morality, and his own authority, and that is where things go. However, hopefully, some people from the Episcopal Church see the light of the incorrect founding doctrines.
Good news and bad news, my brothers and sisters of the other persuasion.
The good news is now you’re just like everybody else.
The bad news is...now you’re just like everybody else.
“Sisk said it is his expectation that all the clergy living in committed relationship will seek legal recognition of their partnership with the state of New York.”
Gay clergy are “expected” to get married. What are the ramifications if they don’t? Can’t take communion? Excommunication?
Sounds judgmental.
Actually, in this situation, it would be a privilege - a privilege to suffer for Christ and a badge of honor. Being expelled for not believing in Gaia and the Adulteration of marriage - a badge of honor.
“that clergy living in same-gender relationships in the Diocese of Long Island must either marry within nine months of the new law being implemented or live separately.”
Hmmm. The gays should have been a little more careful what they wished for.
I’ve also heard that certain insurance cos in NY are talking about not covering “domestic partnerships” anymore, insisting on marriage. Of course, the gays are fighting it, but I think they are on the losing end here.
Who knew that that Wedding at Cana was between two homosexuals. That must be the reason they needed all that extra wine!

What a load of self serving sanctimonious crap. The corruption of the episcopal church is complete.
