A correspondent on a Fox News program claims GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney isn't a Christian.
While discussing Texas Governor Rick Perry's possible run for the GOP presidential nomination, "Fox and Friends" co-host Ainsley Earhardt claimed Mitt Romney, a well-known Mormon, isn't Christian.

I guess that is why it is not in the “news” forum and is in the “religion” forum.
Silly argument. I mean really if you lived in a garage would you be a car?
If Mormons required proof there wouldn’t be any Mormons.
Did it affect how he governed as governor of Massachusetts? Did it affect how his father governed as governor of Michigan?

Yes and Yes. And every Mormon is office furthers Mormonism because they are used to ‘prove’ Mormonism is a good (and true) religion and they are used for PR (even Reid). They are also used for the Mormons to gain acceptance as being ‘just another Christian church’ (which is a flat out lie that even the LDS don’t believe).
It affected their positions, their tendency to flip flop and their policies based upon feelings rather than facts (abortion and gay marriage specifically).
Also, Romney had a special meeting with his prophet to ask permission to run for POTUS. His father was very entwined with the LDS prophet when he was governor, asking for advice on things and policies.
Read “When Salt Lake City Calls” for in depth analysis of exactly how Mormonism were factors in both of these governorships and why Christians should never vote for Mormons.
Silly question.
thanks, we need it. I’m in a conservative diocese but ... who the heck knows where it’s going?
Trying to convince himself he did the right thing by leaving.

Those still exist?! Wow, who knew? (jk)
FNF is their early morning “Good Morning America” type. Generally, they have fluff articles and only delve into something for a couple of minutes before switching. In 1 hour, with probably 45 minutes of airtime, they have about 15 different stories.
As do individuals. Nicely spoken, sir.
However, there was only one Creed canonized: Nicene-Constantinoplean (modified after Nicea and ratified at Constantinople).
“Perhaps you can specifically address the issues the article has brought forward, instead of the standard personal attacks on Freepers.”
Thank you.
My understanding of the matter is, that it is a relatively new thing, that they want to be known as Christian. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
Wow! 10 replies to your # 12. I’ll not pile on.
One of the cults that I know very little about. Hubbard just made it up didn't he? Kinda like J.Smith and mormonism.
The Constitution prohibits a religious test for each candidate.
That's getting about as shop worn as the "race card".
Jesus answered, The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.
