Along those same lines of thought are a couple of books you may find of interest.
First s ‘Jack Hinson’s One Man War’ by LTC Tom C McKenney. The author us a decorated combat veteran of Korea and Vietnam has written an extended treatment of the private war Jack Hinson waged for two years against Union forces. Hinson a wealthy planter and businessman in Middle Tennessee was not a secessionist and neither he nor his two sons enrolled in any state or CS military force. While away from his property an element of the 5th Iowa Cavalry, one of the district security units, (which in this work appears to have been both undisciplined and murderously abusive towards civilians) burned his plundered and burned his home and murdered his sons. Hinson quietly plotted his vengeance and had a gunsmith make him a sniper rifle which he employed in sniping federal soldiers and sailors on the Tennessee River. He knew the terrain and his sniping posts were almost undetectable and he was a patient man and was willing to wait hours to make his shot.

A second book is ‘ with Fire and Blood, Life Behind Union Lines in Middle Tennessee 1863-1865’ , by Michael Bradley. Those who wonder what the context of life in an occupied but not pacified zone is should check this one out. It strips away any romanticization about such events any reader might have. It also introduces the reader to one of the true villains of the 1861-1865 War, General Milroy, who took out his rage for his complete defeat at Winchester on the civilian population of Middle Tennessee. It also should make any reader ponder on what civil unrest can lead to and the true potential for evil that lurks in the persona's of many of our fellow Americans

The roar of the overwhelmingly vast 'silent majority' of responsible, patriotic Americans will be deafening in November '12.
I believe that the mandate against this enemy usurper will surpass even that bestowed upon Mr.Reagan in '80.
Numbers so massive that no amount of fraud can alter the message of total rejection of Ø and his traitorous ideological ilk.
And should, as many fear, the sundry jackals of intimidation, in their utter foolishness and stupidity, decide to declare actual open warfare against all that ' red' below, they will be slaughtered, literally.
