This is crazy and it all makes sense now as just the other day, my entire family was decorating our house for the holidays and all of a sudden these armed atheists from the federal government kicked in our front door and forced me to go to my computer and download the Atheist Coloring Book and give it to my children!
I don't see any Atheist Hanukkah or Ramadan campaigns.
What Christmas?
I see shows on TV about Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, elves and Grandma getting run over by reindeer.
I go to the mall and people wish me “Happy Holidays” or “Season’s Greetings”.
Kids leave school for “winter break” now.
I think the atheists and their ilk have done a pretty good job of taking Christ out of Christmas.
Christmas actually came about during the reign of Constantine. The holiday was originally one for Pagan winter rituals. Constantine allowed Christians to have their celebrations at the same time. This was a big deal considering how unfriendly the Roman Empire had been towards Christians in the past...
Many theologians say Christ was likely born in the spring or summer anyways :)
That said, there is little anyone can do to change the way we celebrate Christ on ANY day of the year.
The Bible talks about the continuing degradation of mankind and we see it more every day. We should EXPECT this and make sure our kids are educated on what the Bible says. Then we won’t need to worry about silly little coloring books :)
