Satan is the Prince of the World
Satan's scheme and his policy as the prince of the world is to hinder God's intentions.
If he really is the prince of this world, shouldn’t we worship him while we are in/on this world?
If not, why not?
How can God, being all good, allow anything like a Satan to exist?
If you are not worshipping God, you ARE worshipping Satan. You are giving your heart, soul, mind, strength to this world, to this life, to what you put your hands to, to your own understanding. And the god of this world (Satan) rejoices.

Because God created duality. Everything ...EVERYTHING has an opposite.In addition who says something is EVIL?

I like these quotes for considering the state of the world the devil is as good an explanation as any, and a not very bright Devil at that.
CS Lewis writes extensively on that issue. It would never be easy for someone to answer such a deep philosophical question like that on a blog. It has been argued for thousands of years and quite successfully by Lewis.

Satan actually works with,not against,G-d. Satan cannot do anything without G-d’s “green light”. In fact,Satan and the devil are two different entities.
Only G-d can have authority and power. Not Satan,not the devil,no one.
The references to Satan can be found in Jobs,Chronicles,Psalms and Zechariah. See Job 2:3-6,Zech.3:1-2 and Psalm 109:6-7.
Here are some very important verses from Isaiah which prove that G-d is the only one with power and authority:
I am the Eternal,and there is none else,there is no god beside me: I girded thee,though thou hast not known Me:That they may know the rising of the sun,and from the west,that there is none beside Me.I am the Eternal and there is none else.I form the light,and create darkness:I make peace and create evil: I the Eternal do all these things.[Isaiah 45:5-7].
The idea that Satan has G-d’s power and authority is not monotheism. It would mean that there is more than one G-d and there is not. Only G-d is G-d. Not Satan,not the devil,not a man,etc.

The same question applies to allowing humans to contnue to exist. Noah’s flood was such a response.
