PRAYER TO
SAINT MICHAEL
THE ARCHANGEL

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen..

No offense to Holy Archangel Michael,- I pray to him every day.

But the good Bishop has to go further than that.

He has to EXCOMMUNICATE Democrats in his diocese who supported this abomination.

I believe in this case, Archangel Michael will help those who act on their own.

He has to EXCOMMUNICATE ["Catholic"] Democrats in his diocese who supported this abomination.

There is no shortage of "Catholic" Republicans in his diocese who support this garbage as well.

I'll take your word, but I have never met any Catholic Republicans who support abortion.

We can start with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Former CT Governor John Rowland, Fmr. Sec. of State Alexander Haig, Former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Former NY Gov. Geroge Pataki and PA gov. Tom Ridge, off the top of my head.

Obama (or his puppet masters) do nothing without an Alinskian calculation. In this case, the idea is to push Roman Catholics, together with biblical Christians and Torah-faithful Jewish organizations, out of the ministry business.

Now in principle, if these outreaches accepted no money from Uncle Sam, should they not be allowed to continue with whatever religious policies they had? But Obamacare throws a monkey wrench into that.

Any Catholic who obstinately denies that abortion is always gravely immoral, commits the sin of heresy and incurs an automatic sentence of excommunication. Read More

Well, by definition, any pro-abort Republican will be considered a RINO. (Although few considered Al Haig a RINO at the time.)

I'm talking about Representatives, Senators, Executives, etc., ... politicians who actively voted for and supported this ObamaCare legislation.

These people must be publicly excommunicated until they recant. Ordinary folks are not responsible for the law. I'm not talking about them.

Any other course of (non)action on the part of the Bishops is equivalent, in my mind, to acceptance or collaboration.

I hope the prayer to saint michael gets re instated at the end of every mass. It was written after a vision a pope had about the devil and his wiley ways.

None of them live in the Diocese of Peoria, though.

True, but his question was for an example of a Catholic pro-abort Republican.

I have spent some time in the diocese, and the finest priest I have ever known personally (Fr. Amar) was there in the one of the most dilapidated, dying towns I had ever seen, DePue.

I am simply playing the numbers. If there are any sizable number of Catholics, and a portion are pro-abort, some will be Republicans.

I am a Catholic and I would add my opinion on Catholics who vote for Democrats in national elections, but the moderator would NEVER let it go through and I wouldn’t blame him.
