Liberation theology confuses Christianity with Marxism. I can’t recall any time when Jesus instructed his followers to have government plunder more from everyone to play politics, and call it charity. Jesus did instruct the rich man to give all his wealth away, and follow him. Notice Jesus didn’t tell the rich man to give all his goods to the government to distribute for him. Notice also that Jesus never claimed the rich man’s wealth wasn’t the rich man’s property to do with as he pleased. Obama should give all he has to the poor, and follow Jesus Christ, starting with abdicating his throne.
