I always wondered if announcing that we had placed a Koran in the rafters of churches and other normal targets of jihadis would cool their ardor about rioting and burning.

My guess is that it would take the Mullahs about a day to issue a Fatwa that it was OK to burn Korans under those circumstances.

Yeah, of course that would not work. Otherwise, we could just armor our tanks and troops with Korans in the battlefield and go about our business.
