Then he yelled into the darkness, “Jesus, please save me!”

Within an instant, a brilliant light appeared that came closer and closer. He found himself bathed in a beautiful light, and for the first time he could clearly see his own body’s miserable condition, ghastly for his own eyes to behold. “I was almost all gore.”

Immediately he recognized Jesus, the King of Kings, the Rescuer, the Deliverer. “His arms reached down and touched me and everything healed up and came back together,” he recalls. “He filled me with a love I never knew existed.”

Fills me with joy!

The United Church of Christ is a very liberal group. I am posting a text from Wikipedia which shows they believe in gay rights and abortion in some of there churches.

“The UCC maintains full communion with other mainline Protestant denominations, while many congregations choose to practice open communion.[4] The denomination places high emphasis on participation in worldwide interfaith and ecumenical efforts.[5][6] The national settings of the UCC have historically favored liberal views on social issues, such as civil rights, gay rights, women’s rights and abortion rights. However, United Church of Christ congregations are independent in matters of doctrine and ministry and may not necessarily support the national body’s theological or moral stances. It is self-described as “an extremely pluralistic and diverse denomination”.[7]

An amazing story of yet another miracle that God is capable of when called upon.

It’s amazing how so many of those who claim such a conviction (practically, dare I say a religious one as it’s based more on their faith than legitimate science?) in science are so quick to avoid any scientific look at the NDE phenomena.

Every scientist I ever read about who tried was quickly branded a kook and his reputation destroyed, Same for any other discipline that took a serious view in it. Or on God.

It’s bizzarre. If you really do whiteout into the void, it seems a waste of time to convince people you wont. Seems you’d want them smoking the ‘opiate of the masses’ by the pound, to keep them fat and happy, not trying to wreck their world and hate you for it.

Bah...liberals. Nothing about them makes sense, why would this?’

Zot — The story has familiar pieces of evidence of Jesus’ rescuing those in need who call to him. And it is interesting on where the little voice may have originated who reminded him to call out for help.

Yes, this story does have familiar pieces of evidence of Jesus rescuing a soul. The little voice that kept telling him to pray to God might have been his guardian angel.

“French doctors do seven surgeries a week, and after they do the seven surgeries, they take the weekend off”

I found this part amusing.

(as an American doctor.)

"They placed him on a bed without sheets or a pillow and offered no pain medication. He waited in the room for 10 hours."

I can't say this amused me, but it did make me sit up and take notice.

In his book about his experience, the ‘beings of light’ said that any religion was ok as long as it brought you closer to ‘the One’ or what we humans call “God”.
