We respectfully acknowledge human dignity which was created by God and which persists despite sin, ignorance and malice. God wants our sincere repentance, not our death.
That's why we're opposed to sexual vice, suicide, and viciousness.

You're not kidding. Our auxiliary Bishop was surprised at all the support for the new Mass translation by the crowd at our local Catholic school. He told us that since the meeting was at a school he was expecting anger over the non gender neutral language. Every other school around here is run by feminist nuns and similar laity.
Took me the longest time to realize that what happened after Vatican II was a rebellion by the lower clergy and religious, which the bishops did not know how to handle. The reform of the mass was done so quickly, and to my mind, unnecessarily that it alienated a lot of older Catholics. They have nowhere else to go, thought the young rebels. Wrong. They stayed home or they went to the evangelicals
