Do not have eyes and minds of sin. Sin is not of GOD

Believers.

TOPICS: Catholic; Charismatic Christian; Evangelical Christian; Ministry/Outreach
KEYWORDS: god; holyspirit; jesus; love; vanity
Many of us that say we are believers. Do we have love in our heart towards all people? Do we always try to right or wrong or own believers instead of trying to do what is right by GOD?

Do we always play ( sarcastically or harshly) with those that seem to try to do right, bash those that do wrong, and help those that ask for help? ( please really read that question).

There are many things in life we have learned in schools, by friends, and by society that taught us the opposite of what JESUS CHRIST wants us to do.

I pray today and everyday that GOD give people the understanding of the difference.

We are supposed to love GOD with all our hearts. We are supposed to love our neighbor as ourselves. We are supposed to confess and praise HIS HOLY NAME. We are supposed to follow JESUS CHRIST, and know that HE is the son of GOD. We are supposed to listen to the HOLY SPIRIT ( for those that are allowed to hear HIM). We are supposed treat our brothers and sister in the faith special.

Though society teaches us opposite of this from the minute we are babies and can open our eyes. I pray today that GOD makes all realize this who do not realize this already.I pray HE makes them clean themselves till the day JESUS CHRIST comes again.

HE has done this to me many years ago, and the love of JESUS CHRIST, which is all I see now. The love of JESUS CHRIST is beautful and utterly amazing; mindblowing. Constanly spiritually edifying.

Please pray the LORD's PRAYER and please read:

1 JOHN 3:1-10

1 You must see what great love the Father has lavished on us by letting us be called God's children -- which is what we are! The reason why the world does not acknowledge us is that it did not acknowledge him.

2 My dear friends, we are already God's children, but what we shall be in the future has not yet been revealed. We are well aware that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he really is.

3 Whoever treasures this hope of him purifies himself, to be as pure as he is.

4 Whoever sins, acts wickedly, because all sin is wickedness.

5 Now you are well aware that he has appeared in order to take sins away, and that in him there is no sin.

6 No one who remains in him sins, and whoever sins has neither seen him nor recognised him.

7 Children, do not let anyone lead you astray. Whoever acts uprightly is upright, just as he is upright.

8 Whoever lives sinfully belongs to the devil, since the devil has been a sinner from the beginning. This was the purpose of the appearing of the Son of God, to undo the work of the devil.

9 No one who is a child of God sins because God's seed remains in him. Nor can he sin, because he is a child of God.

10 This is what distinguishes the children of God from the children of the devil: whoever does not live uprightly and does not love his brother is not from God.

Love to all in the Holy precious name of JESUS CHRIST who lives and reings among us.

GOD BLESS US ALL,

Jesus4life

There are two types of sin.
Sin against God.
Sin against Man.
The latter depends upon social standards and consequently varies widely.

I’m wondering how people identify sin. People generally define sin as a violation of God. People seem to have a lessened definition of sin. The OT specifically lists the 10 commandments. Jesus said a new commandment, love one another. How does one violate that commandment? Any other commandments? Anyone’s thoughts welcome.

By not loving another.

Asking, "Is it a sin to.........." means it's almost always a sin.

ex-snook,

Great thoughts, even to have them is great. Praise JESUS.

Jesus says, “ love thy neighbor as thyself”.

That’s what the questions early were for.

Do we really treat others the way we want to be treated ( loving thy neighbor as ourselves?)?

This is where the violation will come in.

Many treat others in high-regard over others.
Consciously doing things to others ( men or women) that they would not want done to themselves, family, or people they love.

This is the violation.

Specifics not needed. Just that general description many can understand. Specifics can get into sinful talk, which CHRIST orders is not needed. Unless clarity is needed between two people one on one

MARK 12:29-31
And Jesus answered him, “ The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our GOD is one LORD:

30 And thou shalt love the LORD thy GOD with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all they mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31 And the second is like namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these

Another version

29 Jesus replied, ‘This is the first: Listen, Israel, the Lord our God is the one, only Lord,

30 and you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength.

31 The second is this: You must love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.’

Example of that love and how not to violate:
MATTHEW 5:43-48

43 ‘You have heard how it was said, You will love your neighbour and hate your enemy.

44 But I say this to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you;

45 so that you may be children of your Father in heaven for he causes his sun to rise on the bad as well as the good, and sends down rain to fall on the upright and the wicked alike.

46 For if you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Do not even the tax collectors do as much?

47 And if you save your greetings for your brothers, are you doing anything exceptional?

48 Do not even the gentiles do as much? You must therefore be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.’

another version
43Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

GOD BLESS US ALL,

Jongaltsr,

Greetings!!

What really matter is the place where GOD knows that other people will never know about each other; it’s the heart.

The heart can never lie about any action that is performed.

ACTS 15:8-9
8And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

9And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Powerful speech by JESUS showing that the actions and what is inside a person can be different, and they MAY fool other humans ( for a time), but not GOD:

LUKE 11:37-54
37And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat.

38And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.

39And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.

40Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

41But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

42But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

43Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.

44Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.

45Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.

46And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

47Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.

48Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.

49Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:

50That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

51From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

52Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

53And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:

54Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.

SIN:
JOHN 8:34-36
34Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

35And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

36If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Sin is sin. Let’s do our best not to do any of it whether we want to break it down to two types or one million types.

There is only one WORD, but because we go through being taught differently by those descendants of who JESUS CHRIST was talking to in Matthew; those GOD takes out must have love and spread the good news of JESUS CHRIST.
We must all love and have patience for the teachings that we must un-learn to get to the path of:

Love GOD will all your heart
and
Love your neighbor as yourself.

Remember all sin is forgiven, but:

MARK 3:28-29
Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

GOD BLESS US ALL,
