mormonism says they use the KJV Bible, however the qualifier “as far as its translated correctly”, and Joseph Smith added/changed to it.
In addition if the BofM contradicts the Bible, the fall back is the BofM.
Joseph Smith’s translation of the KJV Bible
Matthew 6:25-27
25. And, again, I say unto you, go ye into the world, and care not for the world: for the world will hate you, and will persecute you, and will turn you out of their synagogues.
26. Nevertheless, ye shall go forth from house to house, teaching the people; and I will go before you.
27. And your heavenly Father will provide for you whatsoever things ye need for food, what ye shall eat; and for raiment, what ye shall wear or put on.
King James Bible:
Matthew 6:25-27
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Like almost everything else pertaining to Mormonism, this is a complicated question with a bottom line answer of, "It depends on what you mean by the terms Mormon and Bible."
The Utah Mormons (who commonly call themselves "LDS" and are by far the largest Mormon sect) believe in three bibles that supplement and in many cases supplant the Holy Bible. In descending order of their deemed importance they are: Doctrine and Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price and the Book of Mormon. It would not be unreasonable to add their Temple Ceremony and numerous prophetic utterances to their list of sacred scripture.
The Utah Mormons also claim to use the King James Version of the Holy Bible. The Missouri Mormons (formerly RLDS, who now call themselves the Community of Christ) use the Joseph Smith translation (JST) of the bible. The JST contains hundreds of changes made to scripture by Joseph under the supposed influence of the Holy Spirit -- Smith had no additional scriptural text and was too poorly educated to challenge the interpretation of the original documents made by scholars of his day (not that it would have mattered ... the KJV is almost universally recognized as an excellent translation).
The Utah Mormons are not really able to explain why they reject such a fundamental text as the JST by their self-proclaimed prophet. The Missouri Mormons are not really able to explain why they reject portions of the Pearl of Great Price and Temple Ceremony. Neither sect can adequately explain why they have significantly different versions of Doctrine and Covenants and the Book of Mormon other than assert that the other sect is wrong.
Other Mormon sects have even more "Bibles." For example, the Wisconsin Mormons rely on the Law of the Lord, a document purportedly translated from golden plates by their prophet King James Strang using Urim and Thummum. A copy of this text is available online.
Hope this helps.
I'm sorry for the oversight.
I really don’t care.
Ya had ME fooled!
Oh?
Then WHY are you so upset when facts about MORMONism are posted on FR?
All the OTHER slur words were NOT working; so...
No, Ma'am!
We are NOT in the military; although we DO follow lots of rules (most of the time).
When you poke a stick at the dog; don't complain when it BITES you.
We are NOT hateful!!!
And we do this for a MUCH longer time than 3 minutes a day.
Try 10 HOURS a day; 6 days a week; for about a year.
And; we VOLUNTEERED for this job, too!
Yes. It contains ‘helps’ and ‘footnotes’ to better ‘explain’ what it means.

(Is it as distracting to YOU as it is to ME?)
Thats not all that difficult.
AGAIN?
I've done it a ZILLION times.
It seems to shut down a thread.
Ok; here goes...
'GOD' told JS that the KJV was full of errors, and his job was to 'correct' it.
Here we go with a sample of the JST: Joseph Smith Translation
Color coding explanation:
Added stuff... Changed stuff... Rearranged stuff... Removed stuff...
*(UNDERLINED stuff is the DISTRACTING reference on every tenth word or so that infuses LDS 'scripture' online.)

And, of course, hardly ANY of MORMONism's 'doctrines' come from either the BoM or the KJV bible; but from OTHER 'scriptures' that their god(s) have revealed to their 'prophets'.
(It must be a fearful thing, to be an SLC mormon!)
"Now if any of you will deny the plurality of wives, and continue to do so, I promise that you will be damned;
and I will go still further and say, take this revelation, or any other revelation that the Lord has given,
and deny it in your feelings, and I promise that you will be damned.
Brigham Young - JoD 3:266 (July 14, 1855)
Ya had ME fooled!
Dang!
I must be in line to be a MORMON then!
I've told you a MILLION times not to exaggerate!

THE BOOK OF JACOB
THE BROTHER OF NEPHICHAPTER 224 Behold, David and Solomon truly had many wives and concubines, which thing was abominable before me, saith the Lord.
25 Wherefore, thus saith the Lord, I have led this people forth out of the land of Jerusalem, by the power of mine arm, that I might raise up unto me a righteous branch from the fruit of the loins of Joseph.
26 Wherefore, I the Lord God will not suffer that this people shall do like unto them of old.
27 Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall not any man among you have save it be one wife; and concubines he shall have none;
28 For I, the Lord God, delight in the chastity of women. And whoredoms are an abomination before me; thus saith the Lord of Hosts.
29 Wherefore, this people shall keep my commandments, saith the Lord of Hosts, or cursed be the land for their sakes.
30 For if I will, saith the Lord of Hosts, raise up seed unto me, I will command my people; otherwise they shall hearken unto these things.
31 For behold, I, the Lord, have seen the sorrow, and heard the mourning of the daughters of my people in the land of Jerusalem, yea, and in all the lands of my people, because of the wickedness and abominations of their husbands.
32 And I will not suffer, saith the Lord of Hosts, that the cries of the fair daughters of this people, which I have led out of the land of Jerusalem, shall come up unto me against the men of my people, saith the Lord of Hosts.
Or even HERE:
1 Timothy 3:2-3
2. Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,
3. not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.1 Timothy 3:12
A deacon must be the husband of but one wife and must manage his children and his household well.Titus 1:6
An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.
THE
DOCTRINE AND COVENANTS
OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTSSECTION 1325157, Emma Smith is counseled (commanded) to be faithful and true; 5866, Laws governing the plurality of wives are set forth.51 Verily, I say unto you: A commandment I give unto mine handmaid, Emma Smith, your wife, whom I have given unto you, that she stay herself and partake not of that which I commanded you to offer unto her; for I did it, saith the Lord, to aprove you all, as I did Abraham, and that I might require an offering at your hand, by covenant and sacrifice.52 And let mine handmaid, Emma Smith, areceive all those that have been given unto my servant Joseph, and who are virtuous and pure before me; and those who are not pure, and have said they were pure, shall be destroyed, saith the Lord God.53 For I am the Lord thy God, and ye shall obey my voice; and I give unto my servant Joseph that he shall be made ruler over many things; for he hath been afaithful over a few things, and from henceforth I will strengthen him.55 But if she will not abide this commandment, then shall my servant Joseph do all things for her, even as he hath said; and I will bless him and multiply him and give unto him an ahundredfold in this world, of fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, houses and lands, wives and children, and crowns of beternal lives in the eternal worlds.
