I wonder if the CC was not so heavily involved, directly and indirectly, with the promotion of socalism, that this self-inflicted wound would not be so severe.

So you see, if the RCC disagrees with the opinions of conservative Catholics on FR it is because the RCC, a) is not speaking for the Catholic Church and b), is poorly catechized.

Keep that in mind and it will all make perfect sense!
