On Guns and Demons

....Which brings us to Holmes himself. I don't think Holmes is insane per se. Holmes was able to function in graduate school in a very complex field: neuroscience. He had no criminal history up to this point. People who are insane cannot function in society. Words have meaning - don't let the Marxist media twist words.

I think Holmes is demonically possessed, and that we should all expect to see things like this happen with exponentially increased frequency as satan reacquires the formerly consecrated landmasses of Christendom, namely North America and Europe.

Holmes engaged in at least two activities which are massive "gateways" to demonic possession. Holmes was a drug user, and he consumed pornography. Now, you may be thinking that people have been smoking weed and looking at porn for forty years in the U.S. and it didn't cause them to be demonically possessed or go shoot up a movie theater. In fact, judging by my readership demographics which is mostly men aged 45-75, I'll bet many of you reading this both smoked weed and looked at porn when you were younger.

The difference now, and why you were able to maybe "get away" with those sins back in the '60, '70s and '80s is because this landmass was still consecrated ground back then. God was still shedding His grace on us, and we were very much supernaturally protected from the demonic. Even when people would do things like get high on drugs or look at porn, thus throwing open the doors of their hearts to evil, full-on demonic possesion almost never happened because we were being defended.

Not so any longer. This nation and culture has officially told God to get the hell out, and ever the Gentleman, He has indeed withdrawn His overarching, aggregate protection.

Is God withdrawing his protection from this country that has been so uniquely blessed and protected by Him? Often times these day I fear that it is so. But when I read that this monster's semi-automatic weapon jammed, I see it as a sign from Him and I pray and thank Him that He has not abandoned us completely.

Not true that the insane can’t function in society. There are different types of insanity. I give you Ted Bundy. And Hitler.

We have kicked God and Prayer out of school, government and public life and call it God,s fault? n God will protect us if we pray to him not to the lamestraim media. We actively removed Gods protection and some are trying to blame Him. Bring Him back!!

It would appear that He withdrew His protection for all those victims.

When God is removed, evil fills the vacuum. It happens every single time.

It would appear that He withdrew His protection for all those victims.

People die in fires every year. Should we get rid of fire departments? After all, they don't help those victims of fires no matter how "successful" they claim to be.

But God isn't like the fire department? God is perfect, and the fire department isn't? Look around - God made this world of imperfection. Struggling against imperfection is the Divine Plan. You either have to accept that, or throw out God altogether. As Jesus said, "obstacles there must be."

Besides, how many people would have been killed under different conditions? I'm not just talking about having his rifle jam. What about those people who saved their loved ones with their own lives? Did the shooter see those acts of self-sacrifice? Did the shooter's SOUL experience the impact of that self-sacrifice? If so, did it affect his mind? Did it make him hesitate? Did it make him afraid? Did it have a more supernatural effect, and help overheat his rifle and jam it?

Some people think such connections are fantasies. But that's okay, I think a lot of people are fantasies themselves, so we're even.

Mmmm. OK, then.

Where is this person coming from?

God made a perfect world, not a world of imperfection as you say. Then he gave us choice and we make wrong ones. He forgives us if we ask for it, but as we sin more and more we see sin as normal and nothing to ask forgivness for and now you see where we are.

tell us do you honestly believe that:

“It would appear that He withdrew His protection for all those victims.”

is that the entire depth and breath of your analysis?

How about the three gentlemen who willingly and courageously gave up their own lives to save their girlfriend's lives?

Did you ever hear the verse that starts: Greater love hath no man...”

Just what the heck do you think it is referring to?

Have you ever seen the play “Steambath” - if so do you really believe God is a Puerto Rican steam bath attendant?

I didn’t do an analysis, I made a comment.

Steambath???

God knew how and when those people were going to die. Since He knew what was going to happen, I wish He just hadn’t let Holmes be born. Then perhaps, they could have just died of old age.

I was responding to #1. He said he thought God has withdrawn His protection of our country, It would appear that for whatever reason, He obviously withdrew His protection of those that were killed that day also.

“Steambath?”

Steambath, the movie,(http://www.amazon.com/Steambath-Broadway-Theatre-Archive-Stephen/dp/B00006RCMV/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1343082360&sr=1-1&keywords=Steambath) in which God is a Puerto Rican steam bath attendant, who is very arbitrary and capricious.

Do you believe that God is arbitrary and capricious?

If God had not let Holmes be born, how could those three young gentlemen been martyred and be with Him now rather than in their old age?

Answer: Since you are not God, you do not know.

And wishing for something which cannot be, like Holmes never being born, is a little like tilting at windmills.

There are different types of insanity. I give you Ted Bundy. And Hitler.

What makes you think that Hitler was crazy? Hitler was a brilliant but evil politician who surrounded himself with evil men. He succeeded in his quest for power for nearly a decade, but fortunately for us he misunderstood and underestimated the nature of his enemies.

the shooter sounds to me as a typical schizophrenic with an acute psychosis.

schizophrenics can function in concrete things but have delusions and hear voices, have flat affect (no emotions of the face) and often construct complicated delusions about the world around them.

Ann was making a lot of sense until she got to the part about ‘demons’. Something tells me she’s not referring to the psychological kind.
