Why, were they mentioned in the story?
...after 3 years as leader of the Diocese of Oakland (where 26 priests have been accused of abusing minors). Just curious...how many of these minors were female?
How many occurred in those three years?
Much confusion and false teaching would be averted if groups like these were declared anathema.
It's an issue that came up decades ago with the friggin' aggregation of asshoops known as "Catholics for Choice" (now known as "Catholic Imbeciles") (I mean, that's what I call them.) The USCCB, in its custmary long-delayed and inefficient way, finally exposed and denounced them, they were formally banned from several dioceses, but it didn't affect them in the least; and there was and is no legal way to stop them using the word "Catholic".
I'd like to put an indelible purple dye on their faces. In the interests of consumer protection.
