@&*$%!!! Where are all the dispensationalists who are supposed to be in the Republican party? Isn't there a single politician anywhere who will speak the name of G-d and stop pretending this is an ordinary conflict?

Kahana' tzadaq!!!

I find it odd that the people who have historically claimed to be the party of Christianity have thrown in with Democrats in rejecting Scripture

Unfortunately, ever since the eighteenth century "enlightenment" G-d has been treated as toxic by all politicians, no matter how conservative. Pragmatism has been the name of the game for over two hundred years. Now we don't outlaw murder because it's a violation of the commandments of G-d but because "if everyone went around murdering each other society would fall apart." Even the movements against abortion and "gay marriage" don't invoke G-d but rather "rights" and societal stability ("if we allow gay marriage, our civilization will rot!"). As if G-d were completely peripheral to the issue.

Not a single American politician, no matter how "chrstian," conservative, or dispensational, will ever invoke the name of G-d when supporting Israel. And of course the "official" Jewish community kicked G-d out of the picture years ago, supporting Israel because of the Holocaust and "democracy" ("Israel's the only country in the Middle East with gay rights!").

You'd think that one day one good dispensational politician would introduce G-d into the conversation, but it never happens. I'd certainly like to know what cows them.

and what God has to say about those who act to harm Israel and the Jewish people.

Chrstians have historically simply appropriated "Israel" to mean their own nations. While dispensationalism is a strong counter to this, historically the other position came first. Unfortunately, the only chrstians who invoke "G-d" are usually the anti-Semites who think the United States is "Israel" ("America, the Bible Land!").

You're absolutely correct, onedoug.

Israel puts up with the torment because they know that no matter what they do the world will come down on them in condemnation, and they know that the Arabs don't want peace, they want the Jews to cease to exist.

Israel is sick and tired of war and will do almost anything to stop the constant and ruthless persecution.

Israel's God is going to destroy their enemies, and that time is upon us, but in the meantime, little Israel is just trying to keep from being exterminated by the fuzzy-faced demons that surround her.

"Chrstians have historically simply appropriated "Israel" to mean their own nations."

Since someone has to defend Christianity, it might as well be a Catholic.

Biblical Israel is not a traditional nation or even a non-traditional nation. It is not an ancient nation or a modern nation. Israel was and is a people; the people of Jacob, the people of God. It is now comprised of the grafted on vine; the visible Church established by Jesus. It is the Catholic Church.

Peace be to you.

Notice the language in Ezekiel regarding Gog and the land, nowhere does it say Gog attacks Israel, it says "Gog shall come against the land of Israel" (38:18).

Which means Palestinian State!

Ezekiel 38
18 “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that My fury will show in My face. 19 For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken:

At the same time...tick tock!

Notice that every time there’s talk about a Palestinian State the weather turns very bad.

Madrid Conference of 1991

The Madrid Conference was hosted by the government of Spain and co-sponsored by the USA and the USSR. It convened on October 30, 1991 and lasted for three days. It was an early attempt by the international community to start a peace process through negotiations involving Israel and the Arab countries including Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and the Palestinians. In the aftermath of the 1991 Gulf War, US President George H.W. Bush and his Secretary of State James Baker formulated the framework of objectives, and together with the Soviet Union extended a letter of invitation, dated October 30, 1991 to Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and the Palestinians.

The Palestinian team, due to Israeli objections, was initially formally a part of a joint Palestinian-Jordanian delegation and consisted of Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza without open PLO association like Saeb Erekat, Faisal Husseini, Hanan Ashrawi and Haidar Abdel-Shafi, the head of the delegation, who were however in constant communication with the PLO leadership in Tunis.

The purpose of the conference was to serve as an opening forum for the participants and had no power to impose solutions or veto agreements. It inaugurated negotiations on both bilateral tracks and on multilateral tracks that also involved the international community. The Syrian and Lebanese negotiators agreed on a common strategy…

…'The idea is not to go backwards but to return to the basic formula that was established in Madrid: the exchange of land for peace,

At the end of the Madrid conference all participating countries appeared hopeful that the conference had resulted in a future road-map for reconciliation. The closing remarks presented below illustrate this hopeful sentiment:

Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir , 1 November 1991 “With an open heart, we call on the Arab leaders to take the courageous step and respond to our outstretched hand in peace” [8]

Head of the Palestinian Delegation, Haydar Abd al-Shafi, 1 November 1991
“To the cosponsors and to the international community that seeks the achievement of a just peace in the Middle East, you have given us a fair hearing. You cared enough to listen and for that we thank you. Thank you.” [9]

The Perfect Storm

October 1991

An enormous extratropical low is creating havoc along the entire Eastern Atlantic Seaboard in this infrared image at 1200 UTC (0700 EST) on October 30, 1991. Labelled the 'perfect storm' by the National Weather Service, the storm sank the swordfishing boat Andrea Gail, whose story became the basis for the currently best-selling novel 'The Perfect Storm' by Sebastian Junger. A little-known and bizarre ending came to this monster, which came to be known as the Halloween Storm. To tell this incredible story in its entirety, the Satellite's Eye Art Gallery spans two subject headings (Extratropical Cyclones and Hurricanes)!

And!

Final Israeli Settlement in Gaza Evacuated

The final Israeli settlement in the Gaza Strip has been evacuated, ending the historic pullout from the area which Israel has controlled since winning it during the Six Day War in 1967. Between 1948 and 1967, Gaza was under Egyptian occupation.

With the Gaza withdrawal all but completed, Israeli troops prepared to leave the coastal strip and hand over control to the Palestinian Authority.

The last settlers and their protester supporters wrapped up a Torah scroll and a large menorah and boarded a fleet of armored buses to leave the area. Israeli troops will soon head to the West Bank to begin the evacuation of the four settlements that are to be evacuated there.

Major General Dan Harel, head of Israel's southern command, declared the evacuation of Gaza over.

Effect of Hurricane Katrina on New Orleans

The effect of Hurricane Katrina on New Orleans, Louisiana was catastrophic and long-lasting. As the center of Katrina passed east of New Orleans on August 29, 2005, winds were in the Category 2 range, and tidal surge was equivalent to about a Category 3 hurricane. Though the most severe portion of Katrina missed the city, the storm surge caused more than 50 breaches in drainage canal levees and also in navigational canal levees and precipitated the worst engineering disaster in US history. [1]

By August 31, 2005, eighty percent of New Orleans was flooded, with some parts under 15 feet of water. Most of the city's levees designed and built by the United States Army Corps of Engineers were breached, including the 17th Street Canal levee, the Industrial Canal levee, and the London Avenue Canal floodwall. These breaches are responsible for at least two-thirds of the flooding according to a June 2007 report by the American Society of Civil Engineers. [2]

Ninety percent of the residents of southeast Louisiana were evacuated in the most successful evacuation of a major urban area in the nation's history. Despite this, many remained (mainly the elderly and poor). The Louisiana Superdome was used as a designated 'refuge of last resort' for those who remained in the city. The city flooded due primarily to the failure of the federally built levee system. Many who remained in their homes had to swim for their lives, wade through deep water, or remain trapped in their attics or on their rooftops.

Less than two weeks after Gaza was evacuated (of Jews) New Orleans was hit by hurricane Katrina, nuff said. Take note, when this administration talks about a Palestinian State the weather gets rough!

The Madrid Conference, the Perfect Storm, Gaza Evacuated, Katrina evacuates New Orleans and keep watching there will be more!

And more is here

Man will never learn. Don't mess with Israel.

Zechariah 12:2-3

"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it..."

"But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
