Our Father In Heaven,
Holy and Sanctified is Your Most Wonderful Name!
You Alone Are Worthy;
You Alone Are LORD;
You Alone Are The Most High!
You Alone Are The One True God Of Abraham,
You Are The Ancient Of Days,
LORD of Hosts,
and Rock of All Ages,
Our Creator,
You Have Made Us,
and All That Is.
You Are The Same Yesterday,
Today, and Forever.
Your Loving Kindness Is from Everlasting To Everlasting.
Even When We Are Unfaithful,
You Are Always Faithful.

We Come Before You To Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
and For Your People Israel.
We Pray that You Will Bring Redemption and Peace To Your Holy City.
We Pray for an end to the vicious scourge
of antisemitism and slander that has plagued the earth.
We Pray For Wisdom and Courage for Israel's leaders.
We Pray That Israel's neighbor's be freed from their chains of hatred.
This we ask in accordance with Your Will
as Expressed In Your Holy Word.

We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

As We Continue to explore the Scriptures for references to Jerusalem, We arrive at the Magnificent Psalm 122. This Version, from the NIV, uses the concept of "SECURITY" in place of the idea of "PROSPERITY", which is how the King James translates the same Hebrew Word. I am impressed by the double meaning of the word, and how logical it is. How can one enjoy Prosperity, if one is not "Secure"?
This is a "Song of Ascents", meaning that it was sung as one ascended the steps leading into the Holy Temple of God.
