Many years ago I learned that joining the biggest,most influential church in town was important if you wished to open a store in that town.

If you opened another store in a different town, you joined the biggest church there.

So a business owner might be a Baptist in one town and a Methodist in another town.

Anyone who doubts this should see the BIG BAPTIST CHURCHES in Rogers and Springdale, Arksansas. It is common knowlege that big business deals are made in the pews there as they are made on the local golf courses.

True. You want to be successful, you go where the town's big wigs are. It has nothing to do with religion. It has everything to do with appearance.
