Thank you for those who prayed

Well, it is 11:42 and it appears that the answer to many of our prayers was "no." Not what we wanted to hear. Heartbreaking, but not surprising. A nation can not, after all, run around being completely unrepentant of murdering nearly 60 million babies and expect God to turn His head away forever. We also can not have a leader who would turn on God's chosen nation the way Obama has and expect for God's blessings to continue. Such would contradict Scripture - to which God is ultimately always faithful.

So where do we go? To our knees. Yet though He slay me, still will I trust Him. Where can we go but to the Lord? This is a very hard time. Our nation is gone. It is no longer America. Free stuff and fraud won. And God's people will no doubt face some very hard times.

But keep looking up. Nothing can happen without God's sovereign allowance. Even in this sorrow, He has a plan and it is for His glory and the good of His children. Perhaps to save our nation, which is what we have prayed, we must lose our nation. Don't know. But I know God is good. Heaven is real. And if we never get back what we lost, we have been blessed having had it. Love my Freeper friends. God bless the Free Republic, even if it's namesake no longer is.

I wasn’t just speakign to You Annie- I was also speakign to myself- tryign to remind myself that God is in control- I’m very angry about having to endure another 4 years of obama- and I NEED to keep reminding myself that God is in control- and that I NEED to simply trust Him WHILE I’m havign to suffer under this regime of obama- it’s goign to be very rough- prices are going to skyrocket, gasoline is goign to be a luxury item- We’re actually goign to be going backwards- where peopel HAD to ride bycicles and horses because they simply could not afford to drive vehicles- and they had to choose foods that were cheap, and had to conserve o nthings liek water and electricty usage because theyy couldn’t afford to ‘splurge’ etc etc etc- It’s already been happening- prices are getting rediculous- EVERYTHING has risen in price, but our government has withheld COLA claimign htat here hasn’t been a cost of living increase?

We’re goign to be in for a very hard time I’m afraid- thigns are goign to get rough finacially- scratch that- things have alreadt gotten rough for a great many people- but it’s goign to get much rougher- and to top it off- now our government is goign to be forcing peopel to buy health insurance whether they can afford it or not?

I’m going to need a LOT of reminding when htings get tough that God is in control-

You come in here and share your feeling all you want, I feel what you are saying and I don't mind. I know what is happening and I know it will get worse.

I don't know how to comfort you, other than to tell you to take it to the Lord in prayer. I have to speak to myself like that many times, over and over. I cry, I rant & rage and then SELF tells me to shut up and listen for awhile, GOD is still on HIS throne and will not forsake us.

I am so grateful to have FR available for all of us who are in distress to be able to share our thoughts.

As The Almighty wills, so shall it be done.

I will continue to pray for the Republic and all those within who would serve Our Creator. The others must choose their own course.

Greater trials than this disappointment await.

It is time we stood up for what is right and actually put forth men and women who believe and worship the only True God and his son Jesus Christ. Until the hearts of this nation change, we are lost.

I knew in my conscience that I was praying for the victory of a blasphemous and idolatrous heretic who believes 1) he will some day be equal to God, 2) Jesus and Satan are brothers, and 3) that God had sexual intercourse with Mary.

God’s answer, I believe, is simply that He cannot endorse such things, and those who believe in Him—myself included—should have known better than to think He would bless our chosen course.

God’s ONLY Chosen people are and ever have been the Jews. As Christians, not as Americans, are we grafted into that group.
