I texted a relative this morning and said this nation is under spiritual attack. I truly feel that.
...only belongs in vanities.
We probably didn’t lose the election because God is judging us, more likely we are losing elections because we ran a mediocre campaign and large percentages of people have figured out they can vote themselves free stuff. This is just a human nature thing.

No way some unknown like Obama would ever become president, much less twice, were it not so... Obama is a symptom of the disease that has infected America. Worse, we may have waited too long on a cure...
A disease like this, you have to get ahead of if you intend to beat it.

There is only one way that God has provided by which man can be saved and have a relationship with the living God, our Creator and Sustainer, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12: There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”
As individuals in a nation, this is our only Hope.
Glenn Beck laid out this perspective....
His daughters live in NY. He’s warned them many times, get out...leave...go to where it will be safe, Sandy and more storms are coming.
But they did not leave. They stayed and are now hunkered down dealing with the aftermath of the storm(s).
So it’s not Glenn’s judgement or wrath that his daughters have to deal with...it’s the consequence of their bad decision.
Bad decisions have consequences. And it’s not that God moves away or that He left us....sometimes WE move. Sometimes WE don’t hear God and/or follow his directive and what He wants from us. So I don’t think God is pouring his judgement on us, I just think too many, for too long, have not been following His word or worse, have completely neglected His word. Now we all have to pay, unfortunately.
But it is a wake up call and while the sleeping giant is awake...I believe this unfortunate turn of events calls for a Spiritual Awakening of epic proportions. HE is the only way we turn this around.
In this country we have become too noisy and self occupied to Hear His “Still Small Voice”.
Daniel 5:18-31, "O king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom and majesty, glory and honor. And because of the majesty that He gave him, all peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him. Whomever he wished, he executed; whomever he wished, he kept alive; whomever he wished, he set up; and whomever he wished, he put down. But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him. The people of this country know better, yet they acted wickedly anyway. Their, and our days as a nation, as numbered.
2 Chronicles 7:12-14, "Then the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: "I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
I've seen the rain withheld in recent years, I've seen diseases running rampant, and the locusts have been devouring parts of the land, yet the people refuse to humble themselves and repent. Is it any wonder that the nation is under judgment?
We need to stop flogging ourselves about our failure to reach people and embrace the fact that we live in the midst of a stiff-necked and wicked people who know the truth but hate it and deny the power thereof. And if we have not a sword, we need to sell our cloak and go and buy one, because persecution is upon us.
After Tuesday night; I finally, after a day of depression that would delight and satisfy the “revenge” wish of Obama, decided that it WAS God’s will for these things to go as they went. - No government of man is sufficient for the governing of man; as the decline and fall of the last best hope of man on earth (America) now shows. - The ascension of the Antichrist is, I think, near; followed by the return of Jesus Christ and the setting up of His Kingdom (the Government that shall be on his shoulders). - I am looking for his return; but woe, woe, woe to the inhabiters of the earth before that happens. The trumpets have most likely already been sounding, only the tv has been too loud for us to hear them. Does anyone think that the terrible World Wars we’ve already couldn’t possibly be trumpets sounding?

And don’t let the self-appointed hall monitors grind you down. A number of the “vanities” I have read lately are head and shoulders above the thought of the scribbling class so often posted as “wisdom.”

I love our weekly Bible study broadcast from my Church back east. It's like being washed in the Spirit - but it is not political or topical. I have an online ministry that is not part of my Church to avoid tax exempt problems for them - I am a member, not ordained.
Today, I've seen many posts regarding the election results and the Biblical ramifications. Christians of all stripes coming together on a common path to share Scripture and thoughts to defeat darkness and bring light and the Lord's Kingdom to earth - the New Jerusalem.
I believe this is how the Lord's Kingdom will come to earth - with all Christians putting aside differences of doctrine as matters of opinion, following the Two Great Commandments and working together against a common enemy - evil and falsity, self love and love of the world - things that are assigned to HELL in the spiritual world.
Let us be servants to each other as Christ taught. Let us look to His Word and share our collective wisdom to evangelize, save life, marriage and families as defined in His Word. Let us become involved at local and state government to establish Tea Party principals to take back our federal government. Amen

Spiritual wickedness in high places is so easy to see, they are in every part of Government,and to some extent the churches, and every organization in the nation, but the reason the spiritual wicked people are there is because we keep putting them there.
How many honest men do you know that would even want a Government job let alone be in politics?
How many do you know who would seriously think about going to college to learn the Gospel?
Come to think of it, how many men do you know that you can even trust.
