Not so. 1 Timothy 2:14 says that Adam was not deceived. How could Adam believe the serpent or reject the word of God without being deceived? Do you think that God wanted man to know good and evil? Note that man is somehow elevated.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:

Was Adam not deceived, but decided to follow Eve above God? We have all done that. We know what is wrong but follow the crowd instead.

Adam was not deceived. He fell into the same sin that had brought about sin in the first place. "I'm gonna do what
I want to do. You ain't the boss of me."
Eve was deceived, Adam stood there while his wife was being tricked and did nothing. Adam made a willing and knowing choice to disobey and the choice was probably made before the serpent showed up.
He just didn't know that the price would be so high.
