MM, I’m still fuzzy on what the end game was supposed to be here. Presumably, there was a CIA-managed gun running operation involved, yes? I’ve read that it was the guns and weapons we provided to the Libyan rebels (AKA Muslim Brotherhood/Al Quaida), and that Chris Stephens was supposed to be negotiating (as in paying) to get the weapons back so the gun running operation would never come to light. Then I’ve also read that the gun running involved transferring the US-supplied weapons from the Libyan-based jihadists to the Syrian-based jihadists. Then I’ve also read that the plot was supposed to result in the kidnapping of Amb Stephens so that Ozero could “negotiate” for his return, and possibly the release of the Blind Sheik in exchange.
I’m of the impression that no scenario involving MB/Al Quaida jihadis occurs without the involvement of Iran somewhere in the picture.
What are your thoughts here? One or none of the above, some combination of these, or something else entirely?
I’m only a laymen, but IMHO, the entire “spring” operation is just a continuation of a 20 (?) year string of revolutions engineered by the usual suspects.
USAID/State/CIA/NGOs have well-documented coordinated efforts.
(NGOs==the usual suspects).
They publicly document strategies of how to get their “development” to work in the mideast. This is just “progress”, everyone get out of the way.
Obviously this particular operation had a “hitch”. U.S. gov’t employees and contractors are simply pawns in the minds of the “planners” of the “overall plans”. Of course, if the jihadis had wanted the Ambassador dead, they would have not tried to smoke him out, they would have tossed a few grenades through that locked steel grate door. And why would a POTUS not give the go-ahead to save an Ambassador ? That’s the question that’s not asked. Every other question is asked, with no satisfactory answer. But why did POTUS not give the order ? (If he did, that means the military failed - but no one has yet said the military failed).
Not to worry, just pressure your Congressmen to vote no on everything, and to keep up the pressure on the administration, and break every story they can via hearings, etc. Dig for links of this to that, send them to your Congressmen, post them here.
