***And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee***
The mention of the sixth month was a reference to ELISABETH’s pregnancy.
Luk 1:36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
I’m afraid that your 6th month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy is a real stretch but I guess it is not impossible only very implausible.
I am not convinced of my error however and still say that the 6th month of the year as reckoned by the King James scholars is what was being referred to in this scripture.
And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgins name was Mary.
