unless you call writing lyrics 100% with a rhyming dictionary Hey, it's not as easy as you think. Compared to other rappers, he's a very talented song writer who doesn't make up words (unlike Michael Jackson). And unlike Kanya West, there isn't a bunch of whining about upping the minimum wage.
Ill be impressed when I see corresponding good deeds and kindness to others. Well, if Mathers was a true Christian, he wouldn't go around publisizing his good deeds. At least he's loyal to Detriot. If I'd been him, I would have packed my bags and gotten out of that hell hole.

"Probably the most well known Christian metal band is Stryper." I love Casting Crowns...;-)

I’m no hiphop guy by any stretch but there have been aspects of a few of eneimens songs that have struck a chord with me.
Enimen came from a whacked past and found a way to succeed in the middle of that mess, if success is measured in terms of a profitable career. He is of course still confused on many aspects of morality, but he may in fact still be searching on that front.
I hope he finds his way.

We’ll see. If he truly has become a Christian, he will vehemently demonize rap and the countless lives it has ended with it’s false promise of success.
I seriously believe that the “Cosby show” style successful black family would have continued into the 90s and 2000s if it had not been for rap.

Most rap is not about glorifying the ghetto lifestyle than country music is only about losing your wife and dog. :)
Most rap is about real life and real experiences.

the Christian music market is HUGE and largely untapped as far as rap is concerned. One can only hope it remains untapped, Christian music is corrupted enough.

Oh I know, but the problem is that the media is convincing young black men that there are only three career choices to dream about: an athlete, a rapper, or both.

Being a Christian doesn't magically make us stop sinning. No it doesnt but it is a life changing experience that people can see.

Thanks SeekAndFind.
Eminem, known for his shock value lyrics as well as his vivid storytelling and superior lyrical capabilities confessed to being a Christian on a song on his first album Infinite, which was released before his major label debut The Slim Shady LP.

No it doesnt but it is a life changing experience that people can see.I don't know. Its hard to see when it's only words on a page. Who knows, maybe his friends and family can see the difference. I'd wouldn't want to judge from just a simple gossip article.

19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.
21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. It helps me to re-read this. Thanks for the post.
