Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
Not only was Nebuchadnezzar a pagan polytheist, but he also believed that he himself was a "god". Yet, Confronted with the God of Daniel, he was struck with awe, and called Daniel's God, "The LIVING God".
This started a struggle within his own heart that led eventually to seven years of madness, in which he wandered the wilderness, allowed his hair and nails to grow out, and ate grass like an ox. His religion, culture, and training conflicted so much with the Proof of his own eyes and ears, that it led to this breakdown.
Eventually, he was healed, and declared Daniel's God the "Living God".
Daniel served Nebuchadnezzar faithfully, as well as his heirs, the conquering Medes and Persians, and probably died in the service to Cyrus, the great Persian King who underwrote the rebuilding of The Temple. Daniel's God is Indeed the LIVING GOD, who transcends Time and Space, Rulers and Empires, Kings and Kingdoms.
We pray for the Repentance, Restoration, and Renewal of Our Beloved Nation.
And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, "Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?"
We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

FAITH! IT IS OUR FAITH THAT GOD HONORS. We are to have faith without doubt, faith to move mountains. A few christians have moments of total faith.
Daniel looked to God for his safety.
Do we really really believe God and his word, or do we believe Satan and his deceptions? Faith is the answer, ... increase our faith, having no doubt in our heart just like the apostles asked Jesus to do for them.
Few there be that have such faith since the Lord Jesus and his apostles. Perhaps in this time of making laws that are counter to Jesus instructions, many do not believe in their whole heart. Believe God, believe Jesus, believe his Holy Scriptures. Let us walk as Jesus walked. God bless Israel, Jerusalem, the persecuted believers, and the lost. Bless America, and forgive us our transgressions, have mercy LORD, we thank thee for thy goodness, grace, mercy, loving kindness, in Jesus name amen. AMEN.

Notice, Daniel (in these marvelous paintings does not look at the lions). He turns his back on the lions and looks to God. Like Job what we put before our eyes can influence us. It is good to have a pact with God to not look on evil, so as to tempt us. Do not put evil before our eyes.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM! And for the Preservation of the Valiant Israeli Nation!
Daniel in the den of lions Peter Paul Rubens
"Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.
And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.
Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.
And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?
Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.
My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt."
(Daniel 9:16-22 KJV)
