The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.(Genesis 6:12-13)
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.(Matthew 24:37-39)
We have been discussing the expression used by Jesus, when he described the time of his coming as being ,”As in the days of Noah…”. He was saying that the same conditions which preceded and led up to the Divine judgment, the flood, which destroyed the world of Noah’s day, would again be prevalent in the very last of the last days.
The five conditions we have so far listed, come from scripture, for the Lord wanted us to be certain and clear as to the times of his coming. They are,
1) A population Explosion, 2) Rapid advances in science, technology and the arts, 3) The willful disregard for the primal law of marriage, 4) The overall rejection of the call to faith and repentance, and 5) The obliteration of the separation between the ungodly line of Cain and the godly line of Seth.
But there are further and more ominous conditions which are listed in scripture, describing the times of Noah. These conditions which once led directly to the flood upon “the world that was”, are increasingly becoming prevalent in our own time, and portend the final Divine judgment upon this world.
6) Violence Covered the Earth- The days of Noah were characterized by violence. The proud boasting in the first recorded song in the Bible, that of Lamech (from Cain’s line) is a snapshot of the in your face attitude those dark times.
If God would avenge Cain with some punishment which extends beyond physical death, Lamech himself would extract seventy times as much vengeance, and for far less of a personal offense, upon any who so much as slighted him!
In Lamech’s self-glorification, and perhaps even self deification we see an example of the cause of the overflowing violence. Having turned their backs upon the worship and acknowledgment of ”Most High”, the earth swarmed with hundreds of thousands of the same mindset as Lamech; self-made ‘heroes”, lovers of themselves, boasters, heady, high-minded ones, ever ready to avenge themselves at the slightest provocation.
Is this not the Apostolic description of the day we live in today?
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;( 2 Timothy 3:1-4)
Lamech’s song could easily pass for the “Rap” music which millions fill their souls with today, and who dress and emulate the “Rappers” violent, aggressive, self-absorbed lifestyles. These modern Lamechs sell millions of CD’s and pornographic DVD’s to young people, containing songs which glorify rape, theft, race war, murder, fornication and adultery.
Racial inequality is constantly emphasized by parasitical “Civil Rights” leaders who demagogue their own people, keeping them resentful, poor and dependant upon Government, with a constant , ready excuse for their manifest failure. It couldn’t possibly be the break down of the family, the almost complete absence of Fathers in the home, and the abandonment of any trace of Judeo Christian morality that is afflicting the “Community”, it has to be the all purpose excuse “Racism”!
With forty plus years of such resentment being stoked, it is no wonder that the inner cities of America have become virtual war zones of random violence and murder. Games such as “Knock out King” , in which an unsuspecting passerby is literally punched in the face without warning, all the while being filmed on cell phone, to be posted on YouTube, have become alarmingly popular pastimes for the resentful and un unemployable youth of our inner cities. So also are the violent flash mobs which converge on strangers, men, women and children, robbing and beating people just because they happen to be caucasian.
As our western democracies veer ever farther left, the politicians have stoked up the potential for violence and resentment, by constantly advocating a sense of entitlement to other people’s property, as class envy is increasingly codified into law by the ever-growing masses of “low information voters”. Thus violence is covering the earth, as in the days of Noah.
Furthermore the resurgence of the most violent and intolerant religion the world has ever seen,Islam, is covering the earth with violence also. Since the shocking 9-11 attack there have been 20,000 major terror attacks on the civilized world. Billions of dollars have had to be expended on security measures and there is no where on earth that has escaped the scourge of the Islamic blood lust.
The LORD of history has seen fit to have orchestrated the modern world’s dependence on oil, and the fact that the cheapest, and easiest to extract pure crude oil was discovered under the sands of the very birthplace of the strictest Islamic sect, the Wahhabis of Arabia. It so happens that the house of Saud have long been the guardians of this vicious religion.
The nations of the western world have prostituted their highest ideals to appease the Saudis, looking the other way as they have used their oil wealth to bank roll terrorism, suppress human rights, and metastasized their peculiarly violent brand of Islam around the world radicalizing muslims across the globe.
Europe has even agreed to accept the immigration of the excess of the teeming Arabian populations, blanketing the civilized world with hostile and potentially violent masses who hate everything their host countries stand for. It seems, that since the European nations didn’t want the Jews, God has sent them instead the Muslims as a judgment.
A terrible storm is about to break, as the clouds of the last judgment approach. Now would be a good time for the fearful to hear the glad words of the prophet Joel, that in the midst of the coming storm, “Whosoever would call upon the name of the Lord will be saved”.

I thought after the flood God had promised not bring down his vengence on earth anymore. Didn’t Jesus cry out for his father to forgive us for we know not what we do?
God promised never to send a universal flood again, but the third chapter of the second epistle of ST Peter tlls us that God will “Melt the heavens and the earth with a fervant heat”, to prepare for the new world wherein dwells Righteousnss. Are you ready for that to happen?
