He did wrong when he took money from the US Postal Service. Just as the team owners other sports do wrong when then intimidate politicians into using taxpayer money for their playpens. They’re all just entertainers. They dope so that their fans will pay more to see them. who are the dopes? A pox on all of them.
I think almost every celebutard is morally compromised these days. Otherwise they won’t let you get on TV.
Wonder what would happen if he was black??? Hmmm Let's go to Kobe Bryant for some insight on that.
I pray that one day (soon) one Barry Soetoro will have to truthfully answer!!!
Live a lie, die a liar. There is no soul left there to save.
It’s sure been an interesting week, with Lance Armstrong and Manti Te’o in the news—and Mark Sanford on the comeback trail.
>No, Armstrong is going to hell literally because he refuses to bow to God and the Son of God.<
.
Ah, but there’s where God’s unfathomable mercy comes in — He gives us a lifetime to repent and the act itself takes a split second.
All of us should celebrate the fact that you nor I are God.
Thank God that no other mortal person is the final arbitrator of God’s Salvation to any individual.
Amen.
I would not jump to conclusions. You might be right, but neither you nor I knows his earthly future or his eternal fate. Armstrong is a young man and has many years in which to repent. God loves Armstrong and will give him opportunities to learn and repent.
I have known some vicious atheists who came to Christ. It’s happening more and more often. A longtime atheist friend of mine just very suddenly gave himself to Jesus two months ago. It happens.
Specifically, what did the USPS pay for? Advertising? Seems the USPS had their name splashed all over the cyclist uniforms. In other words, the sponsors likely received the publicity they sought during those years.
Fast forward to current times...were you more likely back when Lance Armstrong wore the USPS logo to use the postal service? Are you less likely to use the USPS today because they advertised using Armstrong?
I am no fan of Lance Armstrong--and honestly never was. This seems like an awful lot of fuss over somebody else's dirty laundry.
There is always a soul. It has just moved away from God — and closer to evil, the devil.
With a truthful Confession, performing the penance and a promise to sin no more the person can be back with God.
Amen to your post.
We are not the judge; God IS and ALWAYS will be.
The eternal state of someone’s soul is determined at death, and not before. This is the teaching of the Catholic Church and, therefore, the teaching of Jesus.
Jesus stated, unequivocally: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
If Armstrong, or anyone among us, goes to their grave without accepting Christ, the Scripture warns that hell awaits.
Is there any dispute in that?
A biography of Bill Gates said that, as an 11-year old kid, he memorized the complete Sermon on the Mount better than anyone in the entire congregation of his family's church and had a deep understanding of it.
“Fast forward to current times...were you more likely back when Lance Armstrong wore the USPS logo to use the postal service? Are you less likely to use the USPS today because they advertised using Armstrong?”
Neither, and now the USPS is so short of cash that they are missing their retirement plan payments.
I pay up the nose to walk up to a empty counter talk to the cute well spoken lady at Staples for all my shipping needs
“In his 2000 autobiography, Armstrong wrote: If there was indeed a God at the end of my days I hoped he didnt say, But you were never a Christian, so youre going the other way from heaven. If so, I was going to reply, You know what? Youre right. Fine.”
So he is fine with going to Hell. Does he think it will ok, just not as nice as heaven? He thinks he’ll be partying with all his friend there I guess. He’s never been told what Hell is really suppose to be like.
