Of course the Romans called them a fetus. Fetus is Latin for baby. Just don't tell the pro choice people that they'll never buy it.

It wasn't until I re-evaluated the societal views of sex that had permeated the consciousness of my peer group, took a new look at the modern assumptions about the act that creates those fetuses in the first place, that I was able to let go of that internal pressure I felt, and to take an unflinching look at abortion. It all begins with sex

She didn’t want to be a slave to her body? I’d like to know more about this body that has no need for regular food or oxygen!

Thank God that this woman began to understand what being pro-life means. May God bless her for her courage to write about this. Now she, too, will be shunned, but at least she will understand why.

Good article and refreshingly honest for a young woman to express her heartfelt and educated change of opinion. I wish more men and women could make this same journey of discovery of the miracle of life. It would probably make a huge difference in our society if we were this honest with our kids as they entered puberty and this information was available in junior/senior high schools. It doesn't even have to have a “religious” angle to be effective. We sure need SOMETHING to counter all the pro-sex propaganda they are getting from Planned Parenthood - recruiting future abortion patients.
