The Open Doors 2013 World Watch List reveals that the countries where Christians are worst off are those where the Arab Spring revolts took place
For the past year, Open Doors, a U.S.-based human rights organisation has been compiling the World Watch List which maps the religious freedom situation around the world. According to the data collected for the 2013 list, as many as eight out of ten States that have adopted repressive measures against Christians are Islamic. At the dawn of the third millennium, therefore, state Islam presents itself as an element of deep and continuous repression of religious freedom.
According to Ron Boyd MacMillan who works in the strategy section of Open Doors, Islamic religious extremism is the number one cause of Christian persecution around the world; this includes Islam at government level and the Islam represented by the opposition.
Contrary to the forecasts made during the early months, two years since it exploded onto the world scene, the Arab Spring has revealed itself to be a key cause of the worsening of Christian life not just in the Middle East but also in the Asia-Pacific region. This is hugely ironic considering the expectations that were triggered by the Arab Spring and how warmly it was welcomed by Western mass media.
"The Arab Spring has turned into an Islamic Winter for the Christians in the Middle East," Boyd-MacMillan said. "In every country where a regime has been deposed - such as Tunisia, Libya, Morocco and Egypt - Islam is still in power and putting pressure on the Christian minority."

Mission: Accomplished.
Maybe we should just build a wall around the entire “Arab world” and fill it with water.
I laughed when the idiots started chanting “arab spring.” I knew it was impossible to bring democracy and peace to that part of the world.
People who abuse their children and bring them up to be angry, intolerant violent people aren’t going to suddenly turn into peaceful, kind, tolerant cooperative people.
The intensity of the officially sanctioned abuse is really astouding. A couple of years ago Fox News showed a short tape of a class in a madrassa in Pakistan. The proctor carried a two or three tailed whip, with really stong leather trails, around the room full of 8 to 10 year old boys, giving any one who wasn't paying attention a really hard whack. By the end of the day many of those had to have gone home with visible stripes on their backs and shoulders. Each would, of course, return to the same Hell hole, day, after day, after day.
I read an autobiography a number of years ago by a Japanese Kamakaze pilot who didn't go on his last mission. The training for Imperial Japanese pilots and troops was absolutely brutal, involving repeated beatings like those madrassa beatings. Predictably, it produced utterly brutal troops who were capable of committing, and committed, every horrific atrocity imaginable. That's the kind of monster those madrassas are deliberately creating.

How unexpected!
