There clearly is no limit to Bill Maher’s depravity.
On TBS’s Conan Tuesday, the comedian beloved by the liberal media said that Catholic priests would use birth control if altar boys could get pregnant (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):
Not surprisingly during his discussion with Maher, host Conan O’Brien brought up the announcement earlier this week that the Pope was resigning.
What a marvelous topic for a man who in 2008 said the Pope “used to be a Nazi” and is the leader of a “child-abusing religious cult.”
As such, having been perfectly teed up by his host, Maher predictably had some disgraceful things to say about one of the world’s leading religious figures after which he said, “We found out earlier this year or last year in the primaries when the Republicans made contraception an issue that 98 percent of Catholics use birth control. Apparently, the only ones who don’t are the priests.”
After some laughter, Maher continued, “Oh they would if altar boys could get pregnant.”
This from a man who last week joked about Boy Scouts having oral sex.
Of course, besides the disgusting swipe at priests, Maher was – as he so often is – factually challenged concerning who made contraception an issue during the 2012 presidential campaign.
Like so many of his Obama-loving brethren in the media, Maher conveniently forgets that the whole controversy started when the President issued an edict last January concerning birth control coverage by employers.
Why would a shill like Maher – especially one that contributed a million dollars to Obama! – feel the need to tell the truth when it might interfere with his agenda?
Sadly, there’s a lot of that going around in the media today.

To Maher, radical Islam and its hate-filled terrorism has no moral difference from regular religious worship, as he blends pictures of the attack on the World Trade center with a benediction by the Pope and Jews praying at the Wailing Wall at the very end of his movie “Religulous”.
Maher get away with this crap because people—liberals and morons think he is funny.
They think he is joking when he blasphemes.

I happened to see part of his interview last night on Conan.
Conan asked if Republicans learned anything from their loss in November and he laughed. He was ready to answer the question but it cut to a commercial.
Didn’t wait.
I guess if we were handing out free things to low information voters, and then voting for them, having illegal aliens vote, having Soros control some of the voting machines, having SEIU and unions bus in people, have dead people vote and then just have crooked county commissioners and poll workers fix and election, we will then win.
We propose an opportunity, not a guarantee. That’s why people are willing to settle for a free lower or lower middle class (if you have dependents) lifestyle for free vs. working and possibly still ending up in the same place.
The low hanging fruit voter is hard to eclipse with the War on Poverty hitting 50 next year.

The homosexual pedophilia is not the funny thing - I think the poster thought that the the funny thing is the wilfull blindness concerning the fact that this crap has been happening for (your) God knows how long and there have been people (like you perhaps) who will defend it to protect 'the Church' no matter what.
The poster has responded making clear he thinks it is a joke and that it is funny. So you are a day late and a dollar short.
However, your own mad contortions in finding something funny about the topic, while shooting yourself in the foot like a real dummy, is another sad display.
I for one have posted harsh treatment against the Catholic Church, even in the last day or two. I find nothing funny about it. It is unfortunate that in one sick way or another some FReepers do.
