Message from Jesus, as given to Anne the Lay Apostle
Direction for our Time ^ | May 5, 2004 | Jesus

May 5, 2004 Jesus

My dear earthly souls must fix their gaze on Me, much as a sailor will use the North Star to navigate his direction. If your gaze is fixed on Me, you will always be sailing toward heaven. There will be small diversions in your course, but generally you will be moving nearer. I speak now with firmness because I am certain there is no other way for you. If you take your eyes from Me for even the shortest period you will be swept away from your course, such are the winds of the world. You might say I am warning you of danger. Just as I seek to preserve you and confirm your destination and your journey to it, the enemy seeks to pull you from this course so that you will not achieve your goal of heaven.

Children, for your own salvation, you must not divert anymore. I do not force souls to choose heaven. That would be coercion, not salvation. You must choose Me yourself. If you choose Me, follow Me. That is all. Very simple. Then why do we have all of these problems? I will tell you most solemnly that most souls are choosing the side of darkness. They will deny this, speaking of silly things like secular humanism and a person’s right to choose. I assure you that a human being does not have the right to choose against God.

That is not one of the choices you have been allowed. So when a soul chooses against God, he chooses to follow the enemy. Again, this is simple. The father of lies draws souls but only those souls who say “yes” to the darkness. Choose Me, then follow Me. You would not choose Me and then follow a path that leads away from Me. Many are doing just that because they do not like the earthly sacrifices that come with following My course. Little ones, you will laugh at the nothings of this earth when you die in your body and are born into your eternity. If you have sacrificed your eternity or your crown in heaven for the nothings of this world, your regret and bitterness will be profound.

This is not for you. You are for heaven so I want you to learn all about Me, your Redeemer, and God, My Father, and all of our saints and true servants. I want you to learn about My Church on earth. I want you to have the answers when someone asks you why you follow this carpenter’s Son.

You must tell them, “Jesus is love. In heaven, there is only love. I want to go to heaven and spend eternity surrounded by joy and love.” Will they laugh at you? They may. They laughed at Me so you will be in the greatest of company. Is there another companion you would prefer to Jesus Christ? You are not alone during these times. I have many followers and they are all destined to work together. My love will flow through each one of My followers into each other. You will all be God-Bearers in a special way so that you are able to sustain each other during this time of trial. Fear nothing, only serve in confidence and trust. You are on the side that will bring you to heaven.

Visions, apparitions, and messages from the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and the Blessed Mother are not uncommon. Not all are sactioned by the church as with the apparitions at Lourdes to Bernadette. I am always a bit skeptical, but to me these messages are beautiful and sharing is caring. For those who don't understand our faith, please pray to Jesus for wisdom before condemning. Anne, is the name of the lady who recieved these messages, and she is just the messenger.

The canon is closed.

“18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” (Revelation 22)

Just as I seek to preserve you and confirm your destination and your journey to it, the enemy seeks to pull you from this course so that you will not achieve your goal of heaven.

Jesus seeks to preserve us, but He might not be able to because of the power of the enemy? That conflicts with John 10:27-28 ... "no one will snatch them out of My hand."

You must tell them, “Jesus is love. In heaven, there is only love. I want to go to heaven and spend eternity surrounded by joy and love.”

Jesus never urged people to come to heaven because love is there ... He urged them to "Repent and believe the gospel" ... Mark 1:15

This whole thing is a product of this womans vain imagination ... she is a false teacher.

I enjoy reading the church-approved apparitions, but I see that Anne the Lay Apostle has a connection to Medjugorje, apparitions that have not been approved, so personally, these apparitions are not ones I would pass along. There’s too much divorce and separation connected to Medjugorje, and sure enough, Anne is divorced.

Anne, is the name of the lady who allegedly, received these alleged messages, and she is just the alleged messenger.

There, fixed it. Catholics should always be clear in their phrasing in regards to these type of supposed phenomena and be wary of rushing ahead where the Church has not yet tread.

There are the Sacred Scriptures and plenty of spiritual classics and approved writings of Saints and mystics that I have not yet gotten to. I'll spend my precious time with those first. If the Church ever gets around to approving this woman's writings, I might take a look.

Jesus never urged people to come to heaven because love is there ... He urged them to "Repent and believe the gospel" ... Mark 1:15

John 16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

...

John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

From the person exporting what they pertain to be from God or "Jesus" or whomever:

Listen, when you see a phrase -- such as "but generally you will be moving nearer" -- which is extremely vague, lacks authoritative sovereignty in its tone, comes across as endorsing meandering "spirituality," and is generically being applied to just about everybody...when we know in these times that there seems to be a whole lot of people "generally moving backward"... then what you are citing here is a false prophet pretending to be God...and therefore, you, by sanctioning such a thing...are joining in this false prophesy enterprise.

Have you ever heard of the word "repent?" It involves a change of mind...including being the front person for false prophets like this!

I don’t disagree with you about Anne the Poser, but I’ll quibble about the quotes you cite. They refer only to the Book of Revelations, not the entire Bible (which, I agree, is a finished work).

” They refer only to the Book of Revelations, not the entire Bible (which, I agree, is a finished work).”

True, I did just a quick cite.

To show the closing of the canon from all angles would take a long post, which I am not up to today :)

The message is simple. We have to remember that our time here is short, and our unltimate goal is to go to heaven. If we lose focus of God, and His love, the world will sweep us away. I believe that. Whatever others choose to do isn’t my consern as much as helping those like me who understand our calling.

There is no way any anti-Catholics will ever get devoted believers who share this faith to even think about other options. It actually hurts the ears to read how some of you “christians” consider the Mother of God and idol that needs to be bashed, etc. -yuk. If you are looking to change opinions of Catholics, this isn’t the forum.

Only those who don’t know their faith, or are looking to circumvent church teachings will accept what you have. Sadly, there are plenty of those. I do personaly believe that something faith related, is better than nothing. So good luck. Oh, and remember to pray for wisdom ;).

I cpmpletely understand what you are saying. I would normally agree if the messages weren't so real and appropriate for me. God is asking that we prepare our souls for heaven, by focusing on Him. How easily we/I forget. I live in Miami, and feel constantly swept away from God. I have 5 children in various schools with a few too many extremely wealthy, "wordly", people, and others without so much, maybe needing help, and expecting to share gossip and problems. There are also many amazing people, but we are all too human. These messages are very real to me.

"Have you ever heard of the word "repent?" It involves a change of mind...including being the front person for false prophets like this!"

Coincidentaly "repent" is something that real Catholics do for 40 days, after Ash Wednesday, in preparation for our redemption on Easter.

"Remember, Man is dust, and unto dust you shall return."

Ashes are a symbol of penance made sacramental by the blessing of the Church, and they help us develop a spirit of humility and sacrifice.

The distribution of ashes comes from a ceremony of ages past. Christians who had committed grave faults performed public penance. On Ash Wednesday, the Bishop blessed the hair shirts which they were to wear during the forty days of penance, and sprinkled over them ashes made from the palms from the previous year. Then, while the faithful recited the Seven Penitential Psalms, the penitents were turned out of the church because of their sins -- just as Adam, the first man, was turned out of Paradise because of his disobedience.

The penitents did not enter the church again until Maundy Thursday after having won reconciliation by the toil of forty days' penance and sacramental absolution. Later, all Christians, whether public or secret penitents, came to receive ashes out of devotion. In earlier times, the distribution of ashes was followed by a penitential procession.

Perhaps Jesus doesn't need to give us the message of repentance because He already did that, and He knows who He is talking to.

I think if you can glean the good from anything, it's a positive. And I hear you about raising children these days. Ours keep me in prayer, I'll say that! :)

“Ours keep me in prayer, I’ll say that!”

hahaha, of course. Mine increased my faith incredibly. Sometimes it seems the more faith I have, the more I realize how weak I really am. :/

Must stay focused.

Is this the Catholic forum? If so, I apologize. I understand the Catholic forum to be for Catholics only.

I don’t want to bash Mary or anyone else. I do think she should not be worshipped. That isn’t equivalent to bashing her, I hope.

Also, I doubt that the prophecies of this Anne that you have posted have the imprimatur of the Pope, although you could correct me. If not, any criticism I have of “Anne’s” prophecies could hardly be called “Catholic bashing.”

Putting “Jesus” in as author of this is beyond the pale. Please ask the Religion Moderator to change it to this “Ann The Lay Apostle” or better yet, scrounge up an actual name for this woman claiming to be a prophet of God.

I’ll do that in the future. Unlike with other churches, “Anne” will never preach, and chose to remain anonymous. That is not her real name. The Catholic church takes years to “certify” things. Just as an example, Mother Teresa, had the fastest beatification (made a saint) in history, in 2003. She died in 1997.

These apparitions are recent. I do expect them to be validated soon. The messagea are beautiful.
