Black Socialist Pope to Follow Black Socialist President?

With African Catholic Cardinal Peter Turkson in the running as the next pope, the media have noted that he carries the fancy title of the president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, an arm of the Vatican. But they have failed to note the existence of a left-wing lobby in the U.S. working feverishly on his behalf. It is the same group of radicals, with connections to billionaire hedge-fund operator George Soros, who backed Obama for president by claiming he shared their Catholic values.

One of Turkson’s chief supporters in the U.S. appears to be Stephen Schneck, an associate professor of politics at the Catholic University of America (CUA) and a top official of “Catholics for Obama.” He runs CUA’s Institute for Policy Research & Catholic Studies and holds conferences featuring left-wing and liberal speakers.

The church’s gay commie mafia won’t kill off Christianity, that is for sure. But the dark mob that has infilitrated the church will come down. If they put a communist in as Pope, it means they are doubling down before they are taken out. But they will be taken out.

LOL!
The Roman Catholic Church may have gotten a lot of bad PR (much of it deserved) in recent years, but that doesn't mean the church wants to commit suicide.

There will be no communist Pope, there will be no women ordination, there will be no abortion of any type. There will be no homosexual “marriage” allowed by the Catholic Church. Popes come and go, Catholic dogma does not change.
Doctrine is not by a show of hands, it comes from the Holy
Scriptures. That’s the beauty of Catholic theology.

The only thing that makes transfer of resources from the prosperous to the impoverished a mark of tyranny, is government coercion. Voluntary redistribution has not the command of the State behind it, but the command of Almighty God.

One of the (many) inequities of government redistribution, is that it illegitimately takes over the role of the Church. It is the Church --- meaning the parish, the Christian business owner, you, me, even the widow with her mite --- which is commanded to heal, to educate, to care for the needy.

The exception would be at times of disaster, e.g. when in the OT Joseph rose in government authority in Egypt to the point where he could order the storage of grain in advance of the seven years of famine, and head the distribution.

So say the prophets of Israel, the Gospels of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Fathers of the Church.

It is almost certain that there are gay "enablers" very high in the clergy, maybe even the Curia. For those who have been following this, it is intensely disgusting --- but it is not news.

However, the Guardian -- like the whole filthy, gay-enabling Left in general -- wants nothing more than to smear the whole Church with this slime, and especially our upright and honorable Pope Emeritus Benedict. It is very much part of their plan to take down the "straightest" of the institutions which have always opposed sexual vice: the Catholic Church; the U.S. Military; the Boy Scouts; next up probably the Southern Baptist Convention or the Mormons.

As I understand it (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) all the Curial offices are technically "sede vacate" too, until the next pope makes new appointments. It may be that Benedict's abdication is his way to clear the decks, and empower his successor to depose those who need to be deposed.

This is the pope who is supposed to lead the Church during the Tribulation. I’m more concerned about that than I am about what he will favor in terms of social issues and social justice.

Unpopular opinion coming up: John XXIII was the greatest pope in modern times. He saw that the Church would appear to be ruined so he administered over the changes that would keep it alive in its “ruined” state. The Latin, the habits, all had to be declared unnecessary. Local liturgies would prevail. So the Church would continue in spirit, which is what it’s all about, and he saw it.

I believe the only line that we ae sure of from the REAL third letter of Fatima is “Portugal will remain faithful to the end.” OK, go ahead, Catholics. Have at it.

"The forces of darkness, and that certainly includes the homosexual lobby inside the Church, have been trying for 2,000 years to destroy God’s Pilgrim Church on Earth. Ain’t gonna happen."

People harden their heart against the truth. The signs are so numerous as to be uncountable. The Catholic Church was never God's Church.

How can you destroy what never was?

And what will you do when a socialist liberal Pope is chosen? If God chooses him as you claim, then God has sided with socialism and liberalism, right? Are you going to then criticize God?

See how this works?

And we all know liberals, don't we? A liberal Pope is a liberal first. And he'll further liberal causes.

I absolutely feel sorry for Catholics if this happens. You'll have some serious soul searching to do....

There is only one divine faith and that is the Catholic Church, founded by Jesus Christ. All others are Christian communities born out of the Reformation. They are not true churches, but ecclesial communities. Only one Christian Church was founded by Jesus Christ, and it’s the Catholic Church. Educate yourself with the history of Christianity and you will see the truth. God bless you.

You really need to get out more.

1)A thousand years before chrstianity, G-d had already founded a religion. And it wasn't some guy claiming to be G-d; it WAS G-d. Some three million people witnessed the Revelation, and begged Moses to act as an intermediary because they thought they were going to die from the experience.

2)The Eastern Orthodox Church is a product of the Reformation? The Coptic Church is a product of the Reformation? The Ethiopian Church is a product of the Reformation? The Syrian Jacobite Church is a product of the Reformation? The Armenian Church is a product of the Reformation? The Non-Ephesian (Nestorian) Churches are products of the Reformation?

Looks like Protestants aren't the only people who don't know their church history.

"God bless you."
Thank you very much and may He bless you as well.

"There is only one divine faith and that is the Catholic Church, founded by Jesus Christ."

I admire your dedication.

"Educate yourself with the history of Christianity and you will see the truth."

As they say, "The devil is in the details". The history of the Catholic church shows me the truth all too clear. In this instance history doesn't validate, it indicts.

Just because Christ set up a Church and then a church formed after His death and the death of the Apostles, doesn't mean the two are the same.

God gives men the freedom to choose for himself, good or evil. God doesn't interfere. Why? So that when we are judged it will be squarely our responsibility for what we receive.

The peoples of the world spoke, they killed the Apostles. They chose and God honored that choice. He didn't interfere. But now they and future generations had to live with that choice. The church that formed after the death of the Apostles was purely man made. To this day, it has no Apostles or Prophets.

[spoken very calmly]
No offense, but can show me anything in history that shows the Catholic church to be divine?

Can you show me anyone in authority in the Catholic church that matches up to Rev 11?

I think these are very reasonable and valid questions for anyone that is examining the Catholic church.

1. The Eastern Orthodox Church is CATHOLIC.

2. The Coptic Christians are an off-shoot of the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church (Catholic) and have been around since AD 42.

3. The Ethiopian Church was established in 1930 and is CATHOLIC church in full communion with the Holy See.

4. The Syrian Jacobite Church is part of the Syriac Orthodox Church and has been around since the middle of the first century.

5. The Armenian Church is part of the Oriental Orthodox Church and has been around since AD 301.

6. The Nestorian Church is part of Eastern Christianity and has been around for almost 2,000 years.

Not a one of the churches listed above have anything at all to do with the Reformation of the 16th Century. The Vatican recognizes these Christian churches as true churches, but they are defective because they do not recognize the primacy of the Pope. Their liturgy is very much Catholic.

Protestant denominations — called Christian Communities born out of the Reformation — are not true churches, but ecclesial communities.
