It will be interesting to hear what our more liberal parishioners say.

Seattle area liberals:

The first impressions of Seattle-area clergy, laity and church critics to election of Pope Francis I blended hope for a man who will walk humbly before the Lord and be a force in the world for social justice, along with despair at his orthodoxy on such topics as a celibate male priesthood, same-sex marriage and contraception.

Many of these are supporters of Vatican II, imho. It has been my limited experience that those who have fallen away from the traditional beliefs of the Church are overwhelmingly supporters of Vatican II. They see it as the best thing that has ever happened to Catholicism.
