Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

Pray for the Peace and Protection
Of Jerusalem and ALL of Israel

Picture a mattress of soft, green grass,
cold shade under some tree,
and nearby, a quiet stream, of cool, clean water...
no noisy street traffic
or worry from dangers or problems--
just peaceful rest!

That could be a shock to our system.
The tv might have been blaring when I sat down to this computer
and though I was not listening to it at all,
it was interfering with my thoughts.

What a blessed delicacy to just turn it off!

We are all the sheep of His pasture,
and we were made to lie down in green pastures;
to enjoy the rejuvenation of mind and body.
Without it, we suffer in both those areas.

But it is fear that keeps a sheep from lying down.
There is a lot of tension in the flock;
friction among themselves, rivalry and competition,
fear of the unknown, just as in the world around us.

It is only when the shepherd's presence comes into view
that things change.

It is the Shepherd's presence that puts an end to all rivalry and fear.

Blessings to all who enter this Garden of Prayer
For His Holy Land,
our Nation and for those with special needs.

Thank thee LORD. We pray for the peace of Israel, for Jerusalem, for the persecuted believers, and for the lost, and for the restoration of America to our christian faith and values, and for thy coming. Turn us back to thee LORD. Keep us in thy will and forgive our sins, lead us in the path eternal, in Jesus name, and for his sake, amen.
