And when God passed in front of Moses, He said,
"The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, patient
and full of goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands
" Exodus 34:6,7.
The Shepherd walks ahead of His sheep.
God's goodness and mercy, like a rear guard, follow the flock.
The writer of the Psalm has learned, by experience, to trust God.
And so David makes the statement
that God's goodness and mercy shall (future) follow him.
We have nothing to fear for what lies ahead,
because we can look back on everything
that the LORD has already done for us along life's road.
All the days of my life - my allotted time;
for as long as I have breath in my nostrils.
It is a sure thing that the goodness and mercy of our LORD,
our Shepherd, will accompany us throughout our earthly journey.
Blessings to all who enter this Garden of Prayer
For His Holy Land, Jerusalem,
For our Nation,
and for those with special needs.
Amen
Joining you in praying for all of God’s people. May His goodness and mercy follow us all our days on this earth and into eternity.

...surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
I love this. GOD is so good. For if walk in HIS ways, surely goodness walks along side me. But, if I venture off, and walk in my ways, MERCY walks along side me...and each one leads to the my ETERNAL SECURITY found in GRACE and secured in CHRIST..Amen. Dear LORD, we pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and for the safety of YOUR PEOPLE. We thank YOU that YOU are paving the way for them in GOODNESS and MERCY to the land that was promised years ago and that YOUR COVENANT to them is always just a call away. May today, even today, some will call upon the LORD and be saved, entering into the rest of dwelling in YOUR HOUSE forever..Amen.
I join in prayer for Israel, Jerusalem and all God’s beloved.
