In 2008, Durbin was even endorsed by NARAL. Heres his quote in full:
Two personal references to me one related to the fact that I had earlier been in a pro-life position in my political life, and it is true. Ive stood for election more than 12 times in the House and Senate, general and primary, stating my position as pro-choice. So the voters of Illinois know that. I had asked Judge Alito whether his position had changed from 1985. I dont consider that to be a shortcoming, if you would concede it changed. Although, at this point, you have not made that concession. Abraham Lincoln was once accused of changing his position on an issue, and he said, Id rather be right some of the time than wrong all the time. And so I dont think changing your mind is necessarily a condemnation. The second point Id like to make specifically is my reference to settled law. Roe v. Wade is settled law.

In that same year, the NRLC gave Casey a 25 percent rating. The NRLC called Caseys legislative amendment concerning abortion in the Obamacare bill as political camouflage.

Well, it’s time for Pope Francis I to remove these people from church membership roles.
A P.S. - likely many of them have already disassociated themselves with anything religious, in particular Catholicism.
I really wish people would learn to use keywords!!
Try searching on title words instead.
Equally as bad, maybe worse, so do most Catholics in America.
Keywords like “abortion” should have been enough
Please forward list to the new pope.
ROTFLMAO!
As Catholics my wife and I only vote for Catholic candidates after we give them very close scrutiny. There are not many Chris Smiths.
A billboard campaign here says:
Catholic Schools Work!
I guess they do for Satan
certainly proves that all who attend Catholic schools are not necessarily Catholic!!! pathetic bunch.
your stetement, at best, is asinine....check your local Catholic grade school or high school against your local public school......Catholic schools do work.
when we enter the university realm, the university, supposedly, offers ANYONE...protestant, Catholic, Jew, Moslem, Morman, atheist, whatever...an education....I'm not sure why, but that's the way it is...
