Well, I just laid down to take a nap and woke up at eight minutes to three — not time enough to get to church and lead the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
I’ll have a lot of apologizing to do.
So I went to the vigil mass tonight and the local cable news was inside the church with a camera. Several people around me were disturbed by it. I asked an usher why they were there and he said that they came into the church, uninvited, and went up to the pastor with the camera on to ask if they could film. Father told them they could. This news channel is right up there with CNN and MSNBC. It really got under my skin, but I was there to celebrate mass, not fixate on the rude cameraman who chewed gum inside the church.

Just came back from Easter Vigil at a Carmelite monastery. My hubby serves at the Mass every year, going on about 10-12 years or so now. Beautiful Mass and Happy Easter to all!

Just got back myself. Six were baptized as adults and I think there were eight received into Full Communion with the Catholic Church.
