Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Psalm 137

An Experience of the Captivity.

1. By the rivers of Babylon,
There we sat down and wept,
When we remembered Zion.
2. Upon the willows in the midst of it We hung our harps.
3. For there our captors demanded of us songs,
And our tormentors mirth, saying,
“Sing us one of the songs of Zion.”
4. How can we sing the LORD’S song In a foreign land?
5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem,
May my right hand forget her skill.
6 May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth If I do not remember you,
If I do not exalt Jerusalem Above my chief joy....

Almighty God,
We come before You with Praise and Thanksgiving in Our Hearts.
We Thank You For Bringing Your People Israel back to The Land of Your Promise.
We Thank You That You Have Made Your Holy Word Come Alive to us in Our Lifetime.
We recognize that The leaders of Your people face terrible Danger from their neighbors
and from "the King of Persia" (Iran), Syria, and Egypt.
We pray that You put a Divine hedge of Protection Around Your People.
Dear Father,
We Pray for Your People Israel,
That They Will Turn Their Hearts Towards You.
We Pray for her neighbors,
that they will be released from the chains of false religion and lies.
We pray for an End to antisemitism.
We Pray for peace in Jerusalem,
Israel,
and For The Jewish People.
Amen

We Lift Up The People Of Boston To You Today,
We Ask That You Comfort and Heal those who were affected by the terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon.
We pray that You bring a swift arrest, conviction, and punishment to those responsible.
We thank you for the private citizens and first responders who reacted to this outrage with dignity and professionalism. Bless Them, Father.
Amen.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

I am overwhelmed with grief and anger today. Boston is my home town, and I spent many years in the area. My Sister and Niece both work in the hospital where the "person of interest" is being held. As I watch the News, I realize that I have stood in the very spot of this terrorist attack more times than I can count.

Most of you know that there is more to this Psalm, but it is so angry that posting the words would not be good for me right now. The people of Israel have been living with this for more years than I have been alive.

Come and Pray For The People Of Boston, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For the Peace of Jerusalem and Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

of Jerusalem and all of Israel

Prayers continue for our friends Mesta Machine and Uri'el,
and four our beloved Nation,
that continues to be under threat.

The people of Israel have been living with this for more years than I have been alive.

You are so right. We haven't a clue what it is to live like the people of Israel are and have been going through daily and surrounding by enemies while the world is against them. And them being told to give up more land to make that vice even closer and stronger.

Our nation has been so blessed and evil so hates what God has blessed - it goes after a nation who is behind Israel. But there have been 'holes' in our nation standing behind Israel and that is what allowed evil to enter our nation like it has in recent years, IMO.

The soon coming KING is making evil and it's pawns more destructive because their end is near and it wants as much unhappiness and distraught as possible. We must stay joyful in spite of it by focusing on our Almighty and Faithful God. Your Garden of Prayer for Israel and persecuted Christians all over is a perfect place for it.
