Is that the same “reason” that black radicals give for their bigotry towards whites? On this thread, I’ve seen Jewish posters make bigoted statements about a. Poles and b. Lutherans. I haven’t seen any bigoted statements towards Jews from either a. or b. I think that says something.

The nations of the world have been given a Divine code of conduct, the Seven Noachide Laws, which consist of six prohibitions against murder, robbery, idolatry, adultery, blasphemy, cruelty to animals — and one positive command, to establish a judicial system. These Seven Noachide Laws are general statements, which, with their ramifications and extensions, encompass countless details.
The reason these Seven Laws are to be observed is also important. The Rambam rules (Code, Kings 8:11) that the Sons of Noach (i.e. all humanity) must observe these Laws because “G-d commanded them in the Torah and informed us through Moshe that the Sons of Noach had already been so commanded.” A non-Jew conducts himself in consonance with the Seven Laws not because human logic compels him to do so, but because they are G-d’s commands transmitted through Moshe. This ensures that self-interest will never be allowed to pervert the Divine criteria of conduct.
It is through the observance of the Seven Noachide Laws that the entire world becomes a decent, productive place, a fitting receptacle for the Divine. Then, promises Scripture, “the glory of the L-rd will be revealed and all flesh together will see that the mouth of the L-rd has spoken.” The culmination of this will be the Messianic epoch, when, through the agency of Moshiach, “all will call in the Name of the L-rd and serve Him with a common consent.”
Jew’s Role in World
The Jew has a crucial role to play in this. He cannot be a bystander, remaining aloof from the world’s conduct. The Rambam explicitly rules (Code, Kings 8:10): “Moshe Rabbeinu commanded from the mouth of G-d to convince all the inhabitants of the world to observe the commandments given to the children of Noach.” It is the Jew’s duty to see to it that all peoples lead the righteous and decent life which comes from compliance with the Seven Noachide Laws...
Fair enough. Those relationships between Christians and Jews over there have been complex to say the least, and the simplifications read in sources like the New York Times are simply maddening. I’ve known quite a few (formerly) Polish Jews, and their feelings toward Poland have often been on the opposite poles (no pun intended.)

Hey, I'd love for Poland and Israel to be friends. We'll all serve G-d together when Mashiach comes. Jabotinsky once called Polish Jews "the crown of Jewry" or something like that.
BTW: I'm not Jewish. I'm a redneck, and some Jews don't like us either. Of course, there's a whole lot of people from a whole lot of ethnic groups that don't like us. (They're afraid we'll put a tract under their windshield wiper. What an atrocity!)

Because Poland was the only European country most of them lived in, they don’t know how bad anti-semitism was in the other occupied countries, such as Holland, where Dutch nationals betrayed the Frank family. And of course, you should know about how the French acted during the war towards Jews as well. Poland gets more notoriety, simply because that’s where most of the Jews lived before, and where many of the European Jews ultimately wound up. More a function of Poland’s geography than anything.
And one cannot condemn Poles for their terrible acts towards Jews, without mentioning the fact, that many Jewish Kapos treated their fellow Jews in the same manner. War brings out the best in some people, but unfortunately, it brings out the worst in others....that is universal, it certainly wasn’t a phenomenon limited to Poland.
I hope one day Jews and Poles can live together, as it was during the days of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
At least Poland has a very tiny number of Muslims compared to other European nations.
I myself am Catholic of Polish heritage, but I also happened to have many Jewish friends, from living in South Florida in my youth, and attended many a Bar Mitzvah, and I am still close with many of them....so Polish-Jewish relations is something I take very seriously. And no one supports Israel more than I.
Both sides must realize that the other side wasn’t as bad as they thought, and their own side wasn’t as good as they could have been....from there, the path to reconciliation lies.
And Israel never had a better friend in Europe than the late President Kaczynski. His loss was a terrible tragedy for Polish-Jewish relations.

Now, the true faith is that Christ died for you too. Therefore Jews, and Noachides, and Muslims, even the Atheists will convert to Him one day and be Catholics in Catholic Jerusalem, or else their souls will be lost for eternity. So what is the survey's ignorance? It is plain: A man of faith will want naturally be among his fellow faithful. I will live, and tolerate, and love anyone: whoever my neighbor be I will be praising his wonderful humanity shaped by Jesus Christ on Day Six. However, if I, or a man of any faith, get the choice of neighbor, then I or anyone with a brain will prefer his co-religionists. Catholicism, and Judaism, and Islam have their own beauty and their own rhythm of life; their own pieties and habits. I want my children grow up among Catholics and absorb Catholic habits, pray with Catholics like Catholics, eat Catholic food, discuss Catholic books and have a normal Catholic childhood. The time to convert the unfaithful will come, when they are adults. The choice of neighborhood is the choice we make for our children and wives: it is supposed to be the comfort zone. This is what a devout Jew would want, too, mutatis mutandis. This is why where Jews and Catholics are free they live in neighborhoods of their own. That is good. That needs to be cherished, not sneered at.

Not unexpected...this anti-semitism goes deep in traditional Christianity due to a series of revolts against the Roman government in the first century. Because of this some Christians abandoned the holy days of Jesus Christ (lev 23) and other practices because it made them look too Jewish.
