Perhaps you did not know that Sarah Palin is a baptized Catholic

Please provide a link to proof that she was baptized a Catholic.

She is a Bible believing Christian, from her own words.

She has never claimed to be a Catholic, if you dispute that, show this thread the proof.

At Wasilla High School she was the head of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, an org started by evangelical Protestants.

It was such a success that some Catholic schools jumped on the band wagon.

That Catholic "mark" on the soul thing is pretty scary, what a horrible thing to accuse someone of having!

The three sacraments that leave a mark on a person’s soul are Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Orders. There is nothing scary about it.

As for the proof — when she was the VP nominee with McCain there were several FR threads about this. I wasn’t interested in copying them at that time, but wish I had now.

It is very well known that Sarah Heath Palin was born into a Roman Catholic family. Her parents became involved in Pentecostalism and the Assemblies of God while she was growing up. I believe this is covered in her autobiography.

Marks on souls should only be done by God, not men nor an exalted denomination.

If Catholics wish to have their souls marked up by Catholic tradition, that's fine.

But let's not do it to born again Christians, such as Sarah Palin.

As far as your other comment, if you can't prove something I believe it's best if it is left unsaid.

Yes I know.

That is not the issue.

They are done by God through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Orders.

Oh ok.

Do you have scriptural references for your statement legitimatizing the markings?

It seemed like tradition, but if it is Biblical I would like to read about it in the Bible.
