I correct myself: he was a pychiatrist, but his license expired in 2006. And from what research i have done he was a schlock psychiatrist with numerous professional complaints. He "went hollywood" in the early 2000's and ceased to be genuine shrink and just "played one on TV". I personally like to think of him as the type of poseur schmuck that Oprah tends to attract and support.

And you are actually incorrect...he has an earned PhD in clinical psychology and did in fact practice for a number of years. His license was retired in 2006

‘Doctor’ Phil is a boring, monotonic, long-faced simpleton who should be the poster boy for the Homosexual (and Lesbian) Agenda.
Just a few decades ago it looked like the Communists were taking over America and the world. Now it’s the queers.
They operate a lot alike, actually; both have a tendency to colonize and cozy up to sycophants like ‘Doctor’ Phil.
Where you find one homosexual or lesbian on television or in the movies, you usually find a baker’s dozen swishing around.
Homosexuals ‘bend over backwards’ and are overfriendly. They do say no occasionally. When a fairy says no he almost throws his back out of joint.
The poor darlings, as they sometimes call themselves, are everywhere in politics, fashion and show business. The theater, like television and the movies, is infested with them and it’s beginning to show the effects. The New York theater is dying; it’s being killed by limp wrists.
