Which one is the true church that an uncommitted person such as myself should join?
If only one is corrrect, then the others must be cults...........For the life of me, I can't figure out all the in fighting that goes on.......
NONE of them. There is no *true* church, as in a denomination, that one joins for salvation.
Salvation is by faith in Christ alone. Where you worship is a matter of convenience and preference but it does NOT Affect your salvation.
People have been brainwashed into thinking that churches save people. They don't.
The problem is with what people claim out of their own prejudices and biases. The only true faith is in the only, true Son of God, Jesus Christ. It is Jesus who said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6). What a person DOES with that statement determines if they ARE part of the church (which is the Body of Christ, the called-out ones who are in Christ). It isn't a building or an organization that is THE church, it is the people who are the church. The first step is, what do you believe about Jesus?
