Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Oh LORD, Our God!
How Wonderful and Excellent is Your Holy Name!
And How Present and Eternal Your Word,
Even To This Day!
Abba Father, You Alone Are Worthy,
You Alone Are Lord,
The One True God of Abraham,
The Eternal Rock of Ages,
The Ancient of Days!
It Is You Who Created The Vast Singularities of Space
With A Single Word,
And It Is You Who Knit Each One of Us
In The Secret Place Of our Mother's Womb.
You Created Each Atom,
And You Control The Movement of The Stars.

Abba, We Thank You For Your Promises,
Which Are Eternal,
And For Your Mercies,
Which are New Every Morning!

We Plead For Those
Who continue to Love and Support Your People,
In Spite of the Current Political Climate.

We Ask that this will open the eyes
of people in our own Nation.

We ask for forgiveness for ourselves,
Dear Father, and we Pray for Our Nation.
We ask You to reverse the trends of evil and selfishness
that have taken hold in our own Land.
We beg that You will restore Faith in You,
The One True God,
and that Our own Nation will Once Again be Known
as one who keeps Her Promises to Her Friends and Allies,
and NOT as A Covenant-Breaker.

We Plead With You,
That Our Leaders will be Led by Your Holy Spirit
with regards to Our Own Country's Policies Towards Jerusalem,
Or That You Will Remove Them.
We Plead That Your Will be Done,
On Earth, As It Is In Heaven

We Plead For Israeli Control Over All the Holy Sites in Israel,
So that People of All Faiths may visit them.
We Pray For Bibi Netanyahu,
and the Leaders of Israel
May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

How Fitting is Today's Psalm! Please Lift up a Prayer for the "Whistleblowers." At tremendous risk to their careers, reputations, and perhaps even their lives, they are making a stand for the TRUTH.

The Psalms of David are Personal.
David suffered great personal tragedy and disappointment. His Beloved King Saul, whom David had served faithfully, turned on him, pursued him into the wilderness, and sought to kill him.
His own son, Absalom, led a rebellion against him, and his wife despised and rebuked him for dancing before the Lord.

As personal as the Psalms are, they are also related to the Nation Israel, Jews, and God's people in general.
How relevant and present are these ancient words, even to this day!

Jealousy, dissension, differences, disappointments, etc. determines what we do in many instances. Unfortunately with limited information. No big deal.

David led an interesting life. He made mistakes, along the way. He had a heart for God and God blessed his descendants. God did not let David build the Holy Temple for god though David deeply desired to do so. David had all sorts of troubles with His children. He was not a good father. He was a Great warrior.

It is interesting Solomon being the child of David and Bathsheba, God chose to honor with the building the Holy Temple. David's Psalms are beautiful.

The LORD God is Awesome!!!

I join in praying for the peace of Israel, Jerusalem, the persecuted believers, the lost, the captives, and for the restoration of America to our former love and obedience to God's Word, have mercy on America, LORD, in Jesus name, amen.
