Syrian terrorists have beheaded a Catholic priest who they accused of collaborating with the Assad regime. Those accusations have not yet been verified. Father Francois was summarily executed and the Vatican has confirmed the martyrdom.
VATICAN CITY (Catholic Online) - The Vatican is confirming the death by beheading of Franciscan Father, Francois Murad, who was martyred by Syrian jihadists on June 23.
Below is the news release from the Vatican, via news.va.
On Sunday, June 23 the Syrian priest François Murad was killed in Gassanieh, in northern Syria, in the convent of the Custody of the Holy Land where he had taken refuge. This is confirmed by a statement of the Custos of the Holy Land sent to Fides Agency. The circumstances of the death are not fully understood. According to local sources, the monastery where Fr. Murad was staying was attacked by militants linked to the jihadi group Jabhat al-Nusra.
Father François, 49, had taken the first steps in the religious life with the Franciscan Friars of the Custody of the Holy Land, and with them he continued to share close bonds of spiritual friendship. After being ordained a priest he had started the construction of a coenobitic monastery dedicated to St. Simon Stylites in the village of Gassanieh.After the start of the Civil War, the monastery of St. Simon had been bombed and Fr. Murad had moved to the convent of the Custody for safety reasons and to give support to the remaining few, along with another religious and nuns of the Rosary.

In fact, I think more people have been beheaded in Mexico, than Afghanistan in the past several years.
Good little Muzzie boys in well heeled neighborhoods usually have a poster of their favorite nigh naked Western babe, their favorite Mooze Lame Western sports star, and now they can have a poster of their favorite Catholic with his head sitting on his back and the faithful cheering his executioner.
But, some people are still so foolish that they believe you can talk with mad dogs like these rather than killing them and destroying the source of the infection.
I suppose this could morph into a prayer thread...as it should! For the martyr Francois the Priest:
O God of all spirits and of every flesh, Who did trod down death and overcome the devil, bestowing life on this Your world, to the soul of this Your servant the priest Francois, departed this life, do You Yourself, O Lord, give rest in a place of light, in a place of green pasture, in a place of refreshment, from where pain and sorrow and mourning have fled away. Every sin by him committed in thought, word, or deed, do You as our Good and Loving God forgive; seeing that there is no man who shall live and sin not, for You alone are without sin. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your Law is truth; for You are the Resurrection, the Life, and the Repose of Your servant the priest Francois, departed this life, O Christ our God; and to You do we send up glory, with Your Eternal Father and Your All-Holy, Good and Life-creating Spirit; both now and ever, and to the ages of ages. I encourage all of you to put aside your rage and tomorrow and now pray for this new martyr.

The Mexican gangs actually started doing this after being inspired by the Islamic terrorists. They found that terror worked.

Don’t look forward to that. We want EVEN THEM to be saved. There’s nothing wrong with wanting them to meet the justice they deserve, however.

This disturbs me greatly even though I am not a Catholic, we are Christians thus believers in Christ Jesus as our Savior. 0bama is supporting these animals that are killing and beheading Christians. I started to watch the video but then decided not to. You want people to be free in places like Syria, Iraq, and Egypt, but then you see a type of human animal that almost begs for a dictator
