He said it was tied to it, not that it led to it. Two different things. After contraception leads the heterosexual to homosexuality, then he/she is tied to homosexuality...
Like I said, an idiot...
It's bad enough someone could make such an idiotic statement, how could someone defend it???
Like the apparently few good Catholics who try to use the 'natural' contraception method...You know, those who try to work it out so they can have pleasurable sexual relations with a minimal risk of getting pregnant...
Guess those Catholics are going to turn into queers as well, according to this 'idiot'...

After contraception leads the heterosexual to homosexuality, then he/she is tied to homosexuality... Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see this quote in the article. So, no, I didn't defend that statement. Could you share the entire portion of the article where you found this quote?

This is the only quote I see that mentions contraception at all:
we began talking about contraception, and homosexuality is tied with it because since contraception destroys the quality of relationships amongst the spouses, and it generates sexual license outside marriage, and it reduces sexuality to an easy source of pleasure with no responsibility, that pleasure without responsibility is never satisfying, and it generates like a drug. It generates a hunger for even more pleasure, which is even more not truly satisfying, not giving ultimate happiness, and so there is a search for more perverted types of sexual pleasure, which can never fulfill the human person.
Where is your quote in that Iscool?

That certainly seems like a contradiction to me. Did you know there are tests you can buy over the counter that predict pretty accurately when a woman is ovulating and when sex is "safe" or not? Wonder what the Catholic market is for them?

The 61-year-old of Polish background said, Ive seen the Communist ideology, which seemed to be so powerful, and its gone! Ideologies come and go, and they have the idea of changing humanity, of changing human nature. Human nature cannot be changed; it can be distorted. But the elevation of perversion to the level of a fundamental value that has to be nurtured and nourished and promoted this is absolutely sick.*****************************************
God bless him, he's right. As someone who has a sister who has chosen this way of life, I know firsthand how difficult this can be.

No, it’s not. And that’s why it’s an idiotic statement...because he never said it.

Well, you know, I wouldnt know being that I cant have children. Well, no, I didn't know that. I can't have children either. Do the Catholic rules say we should never have intercourse with our spouses because we are unable to get pregnant? Do you see where having such an absolute dogma might take us?

No, Church doctrine does not say that. Despite what many think the Church teaches, it does not teach that sex is only for procreation.

Now that's a good one...Contraception leads to homosexuality...Idiot!!! Did you read the FULL statement? He didn't say that using contraception makes people homosexual. He's remarking that the widespread use of contraception has completely removed the notion that sex has anything to do with procreation, and only exists to fulfill peoples' desires. With some, those desires lead to more and different 'uses' of sex, thus homosexuality.
