I’m not talking about Rome. I’m talking about the Catholic Church. It’s interesting to me how anti-Catholic bigots seem to struggle to even name the Catholic Church.
Regardless of what you call it, the Catholic Church has absolutely nothing to offer me.
Sure she does. But that would mean actual submission to God’s will on your part.
I would never submit to the Roman church because I have a perfect high priest (Hebrews 2:18) ....who ever lives to make intercession for me (Hebrews 7:25). I have no need for another mediator for I have Christ.
It tells us in Ephesians chapter 1 that, “God has put all things under His feet and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.” Since God the Father established Christ as the head of all things in my church, and since no man can serve two masters, popes are of no benefit for me.
