It's a good thing that I'm not an evangelical - and that it took under a month for his church to permanently evict Haggard from the pulpit.
That this discussion has descended into “my religion is tougher on sexual predators than yours”, or “Thank God our issues with sexual predators in the ranks is less than it is for those guys” is very disturbing.
LOL it didn't "descend into" anywhere. It started off there, with post #1!
So there we go, child sexual abuse is ok if it’s a pastor with a girl.
If only Protestant elders were men...
