Oh. I didn’t realize you were Mormon. My apologies.

One more example that might illustrate the reason better. If you speak a second language, try reading James 1 in that language. Then, read it in your mother tongue. Which one do you understand better? Which one rings a resounding bell in your heart? Unless you dream in that second language, my guess is that your mother tongue does the work for you.

“Oh. I didn’t realize you were Mormon. My apologies.”

I am not Mormon. Mormonism is a pseudo-Christian sect, a denomination, which is an amalgam of Protestant and even more fanciful non-Christian ideas. I am not in a sect. I am not in a denomination. As I posted here just today: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/religion/3066393/posts?page=85#85

Take Papau New Guinea 7 million people. In 2010 Lutheran Bible Translators completed the Bible in the Haruai language of which there are a mere 2000 people who speak it.

I question the use of resources to teach a man to read a language that only 0.03% of the entire island speak -vs- teaching him to read a language if he is illiterate. And if he is literate then he can already read the Bible in the language he can read.

No need to reach agreement thats just how I see it.

I am very thankful that my supporters agree with my position rather than yours.

“What rite are you, then?”

I have no rite. I assume you are asking me what Church I am a member of. My Church has a specific rite - actually several - but I have none. People don’t have rites. They participate in them. Churches have rites.

Oh, look...another African country embroiled in violence. That NEVER happens. /sarc

The next obvious step is 'women are children are going hungry' (because the men are off playing war) and world enablers MUST step in and feed needy so the idiot husbands have the free time to kill each other. The United States is part of this problem...
