That’s an interesting comparison.
And its a complete evasion of the fact that your conviction about what constitutes the New Testament is entirely dependent on a determination made by a Pope.

No it’s not. God is responsible for preserving what He felt needed preserved. However He preserved it doesn’t change the fact that it was HE who did so. The RCC can brag all they want but God used Judas, Herod, Balaam’s donkey and other evil pretenders as well.
