The black pope (Nostradamus) everyone has been watching for. He's here.
I don’t believe Rush explicitly stated that the Pope was a Marxist.
That introductory paragraph is a nutshell that we needed the first day! Wowsies!
**Pope Francis is an evangelist, plain and simple. But hes no ordinary evangelist. Though hes taken his name after Francis of Assisi, our pope is clearly a missionary in the spirit of the other St. Francis. St. Francis Xavier was a 16th century Jesuit missionary who may have baptized more people than anyone in history. He was also a bit of a wild man. His desire to share the Gospel in its purest form probably drove the more mild manned, yet good people around him crazy!**
BTTT! I could see the evangelization from the very beginning — his reaching out to individuals, etc.
Amen!
more blather and twaddle by folks trying to twist and distort what this pope actually said. Spin it any way you want he was very clear about his anti free market and anti capitalistic view point
It’s a good document overall. It’s just a shame some Vatican Marxist had to slip in some anti-Capitalist boilerplate. There’s no point denying they’re there.
I care more about what Rush Limbaugh says about the Catholic Church than what Pope Francis does. I don’t even care what the pope ACTUALLY said, translated properly, either. Who has time.
Rush never called Francis a marxist. No need to.
Rush never called Fluke a pig, he never did, just a slut.
If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, its a duck!
Then Rush probably considers Jesus a Marxist.
Bmrk
He is indeed a "towering champion."
Pope Benedict, the "Panzer Pope," was a TOWERING intellect. It was NO surprise that he came so far in the Catholic Church. Cream always rises to the top, even in our own jaded anti-Christian, anti-religion world.
For my penance today, I was told to offer it up for Pope Francis. Interestingly, this was the 4th or 5th time (from four different priests and three different parishes) I was told to do this. The same was never mentioned to me regarding BXVI or JPII, that I can recall. Pope Francis needs our prayers, and evidently our priests [in this area] know this well.
One of the many things I like about the Catholic Church is that even after 2000 years it can still manage to annoy either side of any issue, usually at the same time. Let those who worship modernity and materialism sit and fume over the Pope’s remarks.
